5) Open the .xs file, this is where the script is. Study the contents and start changing things one at a time and test the map in the editor after every change (to make sure you didn't screw something up and to be able to revert to the previous version).
Hope that helps. I'll give more detailed instructions in the videos.
1) To go where the map files are located (C:/Program files (x86)/steam/steamapps/common/age of mythology/rm2)
2) Copy both files (.xml and .xs) of a map that you like to use it as a template and create a folder for that map in your mods folder. It would look something like this (C:/Program files (x86)/steam/steamapps/common/age of mythology/mods/new map name/)
3) Open the map files in either notepad or wordpad (I use wordpad)....
I've made a few and the admins who run the forums are less than fourthcoming on how you convert them.
