The Way it works, yes - but Rome 2 has different Data Names, which have to be changed then.
Yes
Is there any way of doing it the same way in Warhammer Total War?
I love Radious mods in that game, but literally ALL Upkeep submods for Warhammer are outdated by years... Is it also possible to do the campaign difficulty edit for that game, for perpetual compatability?
Could i edit THIS mod to work with warhammer by cross-referencing the relevant values?
It edits the Campaign Difficulty, not the specified Troops, so it is always compatible and will never outdate; only if the Upkeep in Radious gets really changed.
But I would advise to deactivate it for Charlemagne Campaigns, as the Upkeep is already balanced there!
You can change it to whatever you want:
1.
Just load the "PackFileManager" from here:
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?680538-PFM-3-5-2-Updated-string-handling
2.
Open the pack from your Attila data folder with the "PackFileManager" (first unsubscribe this mod or open a copy, so it keeps it changes) and you will see the picture above here.
3.
Change the numbers.
4.
Save.
5.
Test it in the game.
6.
Be proud of modding.
:)
forget to say: just unsubscribe after editing, otherwise it gets reverted back ;)
Yes - you can tweak the values like you want with the "PackFileManager".
so pls unsubscribe, start the game launcher, close it and subscribe again
it seems to me that the mod does not work anymore with the new DLC installed (Empires of the Sand). Somehow all other mods still work properly except of the unit upkeep.
Any idea how to solve that? ;)
lets say a spearmans upkeep costs 50 in radious, now it is 150!
it is compatible with unit mods because it adds only new variables to the game difficulty table
