Would be nice if not for the totally anachronistic shields. The Notitia Dignitatum is one of the most easily used historical military visual references. No excuse

The best reskin mod for eastern empire so far. Armour texture looks real - compared to lots of other mods which seem quite plastic. Yet unfortunately the shield with Latin cross is medieval.

I have a problem with some missing chest pieces on the comitatensis spears and limitanei borderguards , is it just me?

Just another question: Will you also reskin some more cavalry units of the Roman Empire, perhaps the cataphractarii or the equites promoti?

@xMathias i think its just the laziness of CA, though you could argue there was a degradation in the quality of the army in the late empire, a more germanic army, the heavly armed legions wernt suited to border protection and raiding tribes who broke through the frontier.

Looks great but the Purple one is just a Purple Latin Imperial Coat of arms and not even Roman.

I totally love the mod, and the idea of it! I was wondering, if perhaps you might know why the Romans look so.. fallen from their former status? Was it from the romans going broke? Or is CA just high or something? Either way, thank you again for the great mod sir!

@ tabraz: THe shoulder doublings look only good on republican and early imperial soldiers. In the timeframe of Attila these doublings were out of use. We have no archaelogical or written evidence for them.
Nevertheless I can live with this fault, if its impossible to remove, because the rest of the creation is magnifique!

Why would you want to remove shoulder armor? That's what makes the units look good.

I love these mods, mys eyes back sore from looking at the vanilla units, I swear, they (Legio/Comentensis) look like their armor is just a T-shirt. This changes that.
