The Portal 1 remake was uploaded to a separate archive, but you can find the link to it in the description of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKla0w-1AdI
I also made a whole Portal 1 remake after this.

the part 2 was just a running simulator imo
This was expertly done.
The only issue I noticed was the lighting was a bit whack, but it's fantastic in every other account.
10/10 would play again
And second, you probably want to heavily peruse the Valve Developer Wiki if you don't even know how to name an entity, because that's just literally one of the easiest and foremost things you do when making a map.
Third of all, this comments section is not the place to be consulting about this topic.
I mean, how many original test chambers have you seen me make? Not all too many. My BTS facilities are usually a bit off. Most of my off-kilter non-Aperture stuff I just put in a separate archive off the workshop, which is no longer being updated. If you want more from me and you haven't already gone to the archive, you can go there to get your ALLOS-brand kicks. Link is in my profile description, you'll have to run it through a Caesar Cipher translator since Steam doesn't like the site I used to archive those extra maps.
As much as I love Aperture, I'm clearly not meant to stay within its halls alone forever.
Mainly in this case that you proposed a question that had already been answered long ago on the last Portal 2 workshop item affiliated to me. To reiterate what I said in an earlier comment; I, in fact, can't make more maps for the Portal 2 workshop even if I wanted to, because my publishing tool is broken, and any fixes may put my Portal 2 files at risk. And I have too much custom junk stuffed in my files that I'd rather not lose, even if I'm not using them anymore. I have stated this in multiple places, yet some people just haven't gotten the message.
I'm usually more, uh, polite when I respond to such people who miss the plot, but my friend over here is a different story. Just know that he's not just randomly being a dick, he's a dick with good reasoning.
But you can only play them if you can find where my link to the archive is, and you also have to know how to manually launch custom Portal 2 maps without the workshop. And I'm not giving hints. If you want to play those ones, it's all on you to earn the right.
Anyways, Portal 2 is very linear and constrained in what you can make for it. Its branch of Source is specifically tailored for Aperture's facilities, and if you made anything else that's non-Aperture as a map you'd have quite a lot of restrictions in what you could do that aren't there with the Gmod branch of Source. I'm not into staying in the hallowed halls of Aperture anymore. Had a good tenure there, but now it's time to leave it behind.
Also, because my publishing tool for the Portal 2 workshop is broken, and you need that to post maps to this workshop in particular.
