Only if you play Unternehmen Barbarossa Tuning Pack, which is heavily outdated so I do not recommend it. With all other mods or vanilla CoH2, just use the Reduced Mode

I'm not playing, or modding CoH3, nor do I plan on it.

However, if Relics lua code hasn't changed much, the script I used here may be usable for CoH3, so feel free to unpack my mod and copy what you need.

@Syfe that is possible, but afaik only through a tuning pack by editing the UI exitension of every individal unit. Since this is a simple .scar based win condition, I can't include it here. I tried it a couple years ago and in general, I strongly advise against it. The icon above the unit, known as "decorator" carries the unit symbol and slot items, which allows for easy identification of type and threat. It also carries the health bar. These are essential to the gameplay, as opposed to the UI elements I did away with here.

First off...thank you for your Reduced option in your mod.

I can't play this game without this mod. Period.

Is there a way that you can set an option to remove the icons above the units?

@R.Costa it's possible. You can check the scar documentation http://www.fortresseuropemod.com/scardoc/ for UI commands. The floating icons are called "decorators". If you find what you are looking for, just reverse engineer the code I used here.

There is a more tedious way with the help of a tuning pack. In the UI extension of squads and entities you can adjust decorator settings, and afaik completely remove them, too.

I evidently prefer a minimalist UI, but I would strongly advise against removing decoratos. They are not just UI fluff, they contain health-bars and are your best way to select and control units.

@K.K. You can either edit the abilities of commanders in the Attribute Editor (look for "commander_abilities") or create new ones and add them to the pool in the "army" category of the Editor tabs. Please see the forums of coh2.org or their discord for further guidance

@Penguinman: This mod only changes UI elements. If you are referring to the Unternehmen Barbarossa Main Mod - quite possibly it's broken due to the patch chaos that relic is delivering every other month. I will eventually release a fixed version, but not any time soon.

Not planned. The code is really simple, however afaik it needs to be part of a game mode, not a tuning pack, to work.

@Mr_Tea_Rexx, pardon me, was mainly responding to the other comments below, somehow I didn't see them earlier. Thank you for the information, however, as stated, this is adjusted for balanced gameplay with my own tuning packs, with which it works just fine. It may cause the issues you describe with vanilla or other tuning packs. However, that might not be a bad thing at all.

ok?? was only asking a question. well you have no manpower upkeep balance for the increased population, no point having any of them over 100 if there isn't any upkeep balance since game play slows down drastically over 100 +

You should also bring back the map borders. They are important in base assaults and building on small 1v1 maps is more streamlined with them.

I noticed two small details. When choosing the amount of victory points the menu only shows the first three. You need to scroll to see the 1000 which can make some people think you removed it. It is also written as "1.000" rather than "1000" in Immersion UI VP.

Hi. I see you have updated your mod. It works great. I appreciate default zoom is the same but can be increased which is good for realism mods. I have a favor to ask. Could you add an option to have 100 popcap in victory points for use in vanilla and competitive mods? If possible you can make popcap default to 100 with 250-500 VP and to 125 with 750-1000 VP, which would solve the necessity of adding more wincondition modes.

Ich habe deinen gamemode gesehen und er gefällt mir sehr gut, weist du zufällig wie ich die kommandopunkte limitieren kann???? also es gibt ja in game 32 verfügbare kommandopunkte, ich würde diese gerne limitieren, sagen wir auf zb 8, irgendwelche ideen? (habe dir ne anfrage geschickt) mfg

Ah yes. Very sorry, the links of course don't work any more. Unfortunatly, I had to take the original tuning pack down this spring since engine-changes, that are now reverted, first broke the mod before a number of patches hit and I basically I had no time to keep it all up to date.

Recently I have created a new and light weight version of the mod, however I have yet to release it to the public, mainly because I didn't create a workshop presentation for it. But I'll probably do that soon, once I check that with the new balance patch, everything works fine - unfortunatly Relic did not release the updated files to the Mod Tools yet, I think.

Thank you for the answer. It is the most efficient way of controlling and reacting to suddenly emerging engagements. It can mean the difference between life and squadwipe when suddenly a wild bofors, or crusader appears. I don't want to bother you, but if you ever make a mode with the feed or just enable attack warnings, that would be nice to know.

I must say prior to your comment, I wasn't even aware of that function. I never use the hot-keys for CoH. What I did here was disabeling certain features of the User Interface via SCAR. Wether the hot-key is tied to the visibility of the event feed, no idea. Therefore I can't tell if its a bug. Definitly not intended, but I am afraid I won't be able to fix it, since I have no clue where to look for a solution, if there even is one.

Hi I just noticed spacebar no longer works to jump to the events. Is it directly tied to the event feed, or is this a bug? I can still hear the warnings, so I assumed spacebar would work as expected. It is really useful while micromanaging two different areas in the battlefield for me.
