after playing I read your comments about the faithplate & turrets.
I had not used the 1st faithplate or killed the turrets.
so played again & did both (but not nessesary)
in room with multiple faithplates I just used portals in 2 pits with gel in.
pressed the button, dropped & portaled, bounced up & through deactivated light bridge.
do the faithplates serve a purpose ?
I would suggest using glass & signage,
to see the pedastal button that opens the exit, from the start.

@ceejaysmith: Enter the beam and get to the ceiling. Then portal so you get across the room, still at ceiling level. Then just jump to the platform .
