Hi Chemical, just few things... General are still germanic and not cavalry, can you fix it?
Can you add also steppe tribes people/warrior and bosphorian warriors/infantry? Beacuse there are no swords in your mod, all the Alanis swords no longer exist!
Your is my favorite mod: there is also a famous italian YT channel of TWs using your mod..

The units are available from the Germanic buildings - essentially the same ones that their Germanic counterparts would be available from.

Make sure to update the mod to its latest version. There was a problem with it before that made the steppe units not show up in custom battles, but it should be fixed in the latest version. Also, Germanic units will still be available in custom battles (but not campaign) as I figured people may want to experiment with them side by side.

What do you mean you can't play Alani with new units? Do you mean continuing an existing game with or something else? If the former, there's probably nothing I can do about it.

I'm working on making a unit pack that will act as a next tier upgrade for the Steppe Spearmen, Steppe Raiders, and possibly Steppe Shield Archers that will be weaker than their German counterparts final tier, but will have mixed Germano-Sarmation men, armor, and shields. This will act as the "integration" of eastern units as the Alans would have done as they migrated west - and will be available later in the game, towards the end of the tech tree to represent this.

Well not the op german units like the noble horseman but i would love to have the germanic levy and spearmen as well as the melee infantry so they aren't that op but still historically accurate.

I removed Unnigarde and Nokkors and replaced them with Noble Horse Archers and Noble Steppe Cataphracts. I didn't want to keep many of the German units, as in my opinion that would bog down the Alani roster, and make them feel too "well-rounded" - as opposed to a strong cavalry based faction.

I'd say include all Steppe roster and remove Unnigarde, Nokkors, and Scirii Warriors.

Great job but perhaps u could include the entire steppe roster and remove the hunnic unique units like the nokkors and unnigarde. Plus it would be nice if u kept the german units since the Alans were a sarmatian AND germanic confederation. Nonetheless great job!
