1) Complete
This one is not only a demo version, but also very old version. There are very few limited contents in the game.
Currently, I'm almost done to develop the game for Steam Releasing, just need time to fix few things. (Of course, there are a lot of changes.)

2) Recording
Sure, You can record this :D. But, Please remind this version is very old and demo version when compared to the game's newest version.

Hi there. I was just wonder a couple of things, if it's alright with you. How complete is the game. I am wondering if i could mabey record it. I don't want to make it if it has many bugs. Also i am sorry I haven't played it yet but if i can record it i want it to be a suprise. Also it looks realy cool.
(I can't figure out how to do anything in gamestudio.) Maby I could help spread the word with my 2 subs :P. But realy I would like to record it for a youtube series. Thanks for you time and sorry for my grammar. :medicon:

Currently, I'm making the game's graphics and contents much better than this demo.

The game development is almost done, just needs time to test and fix few things. :)

It is obvious that you are very invested in making this game, and I think that's great! I wish you luck in the future with the development.

I really like the RPG feel to the game and the graphics look nice. All of the GUIs are excellent and the menu looks outstanding. I will look foward to the updates of this game.

I'm quite inspired by your game and thought that in the future I might just make an RPG with RTS mechanics too. Carry on witht he good work.

Thank you for playing! I agree with your opinion because this version is too old when compared to the game's current version. (I've not been updated this workshop version for so long time because the game's finished to connect to Steam.)

About the game's current version that will be published in Steam.
1) The game development's almost done, just needs bug fixing, adding what's neccessary in the game (if possible).
2) Two playable characters have same fighting style, but they have different skill style : One is magic-oriented style like fireball or magical slash and another is tool-oriented style like traps or sniping.
3) All assets like Textures and sprites have been changed. Also, lots of animation have been changed.
4) There are a few traps in some maps like traps or secret doors.

This is a very enjoyable game but, from what I have seen so far by playing the game its not at the paying standards yet.

The story so far is rather cliche, the character portraits should show different emotions and possibly they should be more detailed.
The combat is rather mediocre and the two playable characters should have different fighting style, a example could be one of them focus on melee combat and the other uses magic alot.
The sprite art isn't that great, the world needs to be more fleshed out and the character sprites could have a slashing animation, the maps could have puzzles so the levels appear longer and the maps themselves aren't very creative.
The music so far is very nice but maybe more of a soundtrack.

This game is at the Alpha stage in my eyes and I don't think you'll have this done in 2016 or even 2017.

Your doing amazing for a one-man team, please work hard on this game I want you to succeed.

Hello, Everyone, I have a good news about this game, 'Ace of Protectors'.
'Ace of Protectors' has been greenlit in Steam Greenlight today!
We'll be able to play 'Ace of Protectors' in Steam!!! (Release date : Late 2015 or Early 2016, I'm not sure.)

Update Note #2-Ex3 and next big updates - 08/11/2015
- Fixed a bug that two yuri appears when players talk to Master in main quest. This bug didn't happen in previous versions, but this happens in current version because of adding some new features. (= It was my mistake and accident, sorry T^T)

And.. Here are the next big updates.
+ More code optimization and graphical optimization.
+ Grammer mistakes will be fixed.
+ Some NPCs will be added, These NPCs have some quests, sometimes These quests have unique stories.
+ New contents will be added.
+ Skills will be added, so, you'll be able to use skills in next version.
+ Crafting will be added, also, Monsters will drop some items for crafting.
+ Options menu will be unlocked.

Update Note #2-Ex2 - 08/10/2015
This is the urgent patch about one critical bug.
- Fixed the instant crash bug that appears when players don't have or connect gamepads to computer (=It means, players who play this game with the keyboard.). Now, Players who use the keyboard instead of gamepads can play this game. This critical bug appeared after Patch #2-Ex (08/07/2015), but was fixed by this patch.
I am really sorry about this mistake, I won't let this happen again :/

Wow. This game is really cool. I played up to level 4 and I have to say : Respect!. Awesome game made with the GameMaker Studio. I just hope I can buy it soon at the Store. Would be nice. Enjoy the rest of your day. :)

I like the project. I'm astounded by how you made this all on your own. But there is one big problem with the game, and I will tell you what. It's the artstyle. It's not the same everywhere. Surroundings are often high-res, whereas characters are of a totally different artstyle. They are pixelly. For example, the water, is way more pixellated than other textures. That makes it feel odd. If you want to improve your game, focus on the textures. It's often the first impression that your game gives too. I'm not saying this to mock you, but to improve it. Because it's outstanding what you did on your own.

Special Eyes // Thanks for leaving a comment. yes, this is my solo project. I drew characters artworks by using OpenCanvas 6, did programming, and made systems, sprites by myself. [But, few sprites (not artworks) are licensed, it means few things aren't mine, but i have license to use.] I agree with your opinion, this needs more works about polishing and optimization. I'll do my best to this. Anyway, I am really thankful for your advice.

Ok This project has potential! It is very clear that you worked very hard on the individual systems , elements, coding, maybe even the artwork?

I am very impressed by the effort shown and even more impressed if this is a solo project.

The only thing I would say is that, this project needs some polish and optimization.

Other than that I really like the direction and effort.

Also if you need an assistant of the like I am looking for a mentor to show what making games is all about.
