I can confirm the Clan Skryre Lab shows up for other civs. I was convenientelly playing as the Argonians from Elder Scrolls, which has a marsh bias, so I was able to use to my advantage! lol!

Skaven was not even in the game.

It'd be appreciated if the skryr lab glitch was fixed, I can't use this mod with my friends without them abusing the hell out of it

I love this mod. Very well executed, and very fun for science victories.

I too encountered the glitch where I can endlessly purchase their inuque building with faith however.

Ferroken I had the same problem, I could buy their lab with faith. I was running only civs as mods

Can you upload a version of this mod with an additional UU or UB? I want it to be balanced against .chalaux's "Generic Fantasy Civs" and Oranos' Atlantean civ. Thank you!

I think I may have encountered an unusual bug with their Unique Building.

While playing as the Empire, I looked at the stuff I can purchase with gold/faith, and for some reason, I am able to purchase a Skryre Lab for 100 faith. Not sure if this was caused by one of the other mods I was running.

I am playing them right now and just noticed that they are actually worse than a generic civ without a trait.
Their University gives no science for jungle AND no scientist slots... thats horrible, how to generate scientists then?
They are literally worse in science than any other civ :/

Nice mod but there is a problem with the Skryre Lab. It can be bought with faith by other civs.

Look, you can't make a civilization mod from Skaven and not have DOOMWHEELS in it as a siege unit.

Skryre Lab can be built with faith points (like buying pagodas, mosques etc) when playing as other civs. Found this bug when using The Grand Campaign mod. Haven't tested it without the TGC yet.

The only problem I have with this mod is that he is not using the custom dialogue you coded for him. Am I doing something wrong? Either way, great work. Cheers.

When I try to lunch a game of civ with these mods turned on I can do anything it only shows chaos and when I pick them it takes the screen away :steamsad:

I found the problem with the Skryre lab. You need to add a line above and aligned with the first <Row> called <!-- Unique Buildings --> in the Buildings XML.

there seams to be no limit on how many you can buy in a city. my capitel produced over 2000 science by the end

ok, I think there's a bug: apparently every civ in game can buy the Skryre Labs through faith

I thought about having this fixed... but then realized this could be used in an interesting way if you could implement it: allow the Skaven civ if ingame to leech off science off other major civs who are using the Skryre Labs, and perhaps contribute something like -1 growth to said non-Skaven major civ every turn. This would reflect Skaven behind-the-scenes wetwork and their inevitable march towards world domination (through superior science, numbers and machinations such as this)

@Herald of Nurgle: after I'm done with the main 14 civs I might make a few others. No promises re: the Sigmarites though, I just don't really know enough about them to say for sure whether I can make a decent mod based on them. We'll see.

@George W. Bush: well my focus is on finishing this mod really, but even if that weren't the case I need the right unit models to make a good UU. I took a look on Civ Fanatics and all I found that might make a Warjack is a reskinned Giant Death Robot.

@Herald of Nurgle: yeah I know about Age of Sigmar. Two guys from my group played a game and their comments were not positive. I reckon I'll just keep playing 8th and pretending like the world didn't get blown up; I wanted to see them advance the setting, not reboot it.

@George W. Bush: I don't play and I don't know much about the rules other than it's a skirmish game and designed to be played aggressively ("like you've got a pair", etc), but I know a little bit about the setting and the lore. It seems cool.

@Kolodis: yeah sorry for the wait man, and thanks for the kind words. I was working on a couple of evil civs but hit a wall with some Lua, I actually have ideas for Lizardmen which might be simpler to do, so I might move them up the list. No promises, but hopefully you won't have to wait another seven months ;-)

Finally another warhammer civ. Really enjoyed your other ones so far, they're powerful but balanced. Any plans for a lizardman civ in the future?
