@trixtrure it is exactly the same as the base game jump drive but its only one block by one block

aka a smaller version, aka compact

I love this jump drive, but do you have an encased version? or one with a lower poly count? I have a big ship to move and having a lot of these really slows down the game.

Yea I think this is a bit op. I think you should rise the power requirement, and lower range

there small enought you can have alot of them which makes them nice

Can anyone explain why every time I turn this block on in my large ship, my batteries start charging at like 1.5kW each? When I turn the block off they are no longer charging.

I have alot of these on my raven refit, i have named the refit the homata.

I like them because not only do they look better than the default, but thier size, i have most of them in the floor of enginering with a glass pannel over it.

if you are conserned with them being OP

just lower the range.

yes there are some mods, that are "OP", i prefer to think of them as the future, they are no OP they are just more advanced versions of the Old

An alternative to lowering its capability and costs, is keeping its capabilities the same and INCREASING costs by the same factor as its scaled down, this block is 18 times smaller? maybe increase the cost by... 18 is a bit steep, but 5-10 times the cost? making it a serious investment for the size saving so as to not make the vanilla block completely moot.

Hm. Thats unfortunate. The model looks really cool. But I'd like to see some balancing here. Like reducing the max jump distance and/or jump mass, while also reducing the neede materials or something. Otherwise it feels like cheating in survival.

Is is somehow balanced for the smaller size?

Your TransparentMaterials.sbc says, it's looking for a "slged.dds", but the file in the folder "Textures\Particles\ is the "glass01.dds". Same file as the one in Textures\Models\Cubes.
Seems like a copy/past error.

Also, I canot get this thing to charge.
Don't know if this is related to the path error above.

If this becomes a small ship block I for one won't be happy, my games tend to revolve around carrier aspects anyway, so a small ship Jump Drive would pretty much break my game. That said, I love that someone made a compact version.

If you look, it says "same as original," so it's just a size and appearance change; you should expect equivalent performance from the vanilla and this modded object.
