Really love using this jump drive, but all of a sudden it will only do blind jumps it will not jump to a specified GPS location on my games map. Would like to keep using this Mod can you help?

Souper i love this jump drive model but what my suggestion would be is to have various versions rather then completely redoing this say have: MK1-3 for small ships MK4-10 being large ships with MK10 being basicly the OP model (ie LY jump distance). and MK1 being for short range like 5km. Im stuck using Advanced FTL for my skiff for some reason all other small ship jump drives explode on me.

Mod info was wrong, range is 75million meters. I have plans to re-do the model for this. It was one of my earlier works and I'm not very proud of it. Nothing major, just going over the details of it. I will also adjust the power requirements then, since keen has multiplied power output of reactors by 3x and I never adjusted this to keep up with Keen.

strange thing, mod info say 75.000.000 km range this shoudl be 75 million km right? ingame i can only jump max 75 thousand km , so whats now wrong? Mod info or Jump Drive range ingame?

On my Mark 1 titan ship 138m kg mass. Got 22km range jump every 14m. Next ship to be even bigger.

Yeah; I'll give it a go thanks. Maybe I didn't read your posting correctly but the block size isn't stated. Some of these jump drive mods in the Workshop are quite large blocks (3x3) and retrofitting them into large ships can be problematic without doing a total rebuild. Cheers!

As a suggestion, you could make it require 1GW and force people to build a crapton of batteries. Afterall, who builds this on anything BUT a mothership that already needs that many thrusters. Also, there are modded reactors like the Arc reactor that provide much more. But I do think 120MWs is a bit off :)

After scaling the ratio of distance per 1MW of power used by vanilla, I figured that this jump drive should be using about 1200MW of power. That's 12 large reactors. I really don't want to force people to build 12 extra reactors just to power this thing but I do feel like it needs to be adjusted to make it more balanced so I will be bumping up the power requirements as well as charge time and components required upon the next update. http://cdn.meme.am/instances/54866390.jpg

now just imagine you have a super fleet dreadnought battle carrier that is as big as 50 - 60 of the big red ships combined carrying 30 fighters, 5 scouts, 10 bombers, 10 corvetes, 5 boarding ships, and has several frigates and such attached to the outside not to mention the other small support craft inside.
now imagine your out in deeeeeeep space and you jump closer to the center and end up in the middle of an all out war between 3 other factions that each have alomost as many ships.
(this is when we listen for the server to start screaming in horror as it melts)

Most Super capital ships are gonna be beyond heavy for me Blue Titan is currently my record holder but theres others that beat me mostly cause i reduce my wight by using composit armor design heavy armor with blast door ribbing in sections that i call citidel points new ships im working on are going to use this more but with light armor cause well heavy ship probable wont land on a planet even with mega thrusters taged on to assist in landing ops

@Schlachter125 Taken from the Keen website " To increase jump distances or mass transport capacity, you will have to build more jump drives. Any of the jump drives can be then used as the master drive that will use the other available drives if needed."
So the more you add the farther you can jump and the more mass your ship can have. In Shogun's case, (368,000,000 mass) they would have to place about 46 of these in order to jump.

100M kg sounds good but to fit all needs 500M would be even better ;) 150-300M kg is the weight of most of my capital ships. btw. can you combine more jumpdrives to move more mass/ further?

While i kinda like a big jump drive, i got one question.

How is 75 000 000 km just 375% or 3.75x bigger than 2 000 km?
By my math that is 37 500 times bigger or 3 750 000 %, thus off by a factor 10 000 which i would consider "kinda op".
