Fudge Paradox for not allowing me to develop my provinces in base game. It's a basic machanic that should not cost me half of what I paid for the game itself, anyway very happy with this mod. My only gripe with it is that it's needs to be scaled better, as Czar XD states.

good.
The ''time and effort'' they put is just to milk money

One more thing though, if you play competitivly eu4, especially against other players I find when you use this mod, you rarely CAN use the decision to increase developement because it puts you in a massive disadvantage, escpecially when the cost is around 150. Please change how the cost of using the decision increases because it defeats the mod's usability.

I like this mod because you can do something with monarch points especially when you are at maximum amount of monarch points. If you aren't at maximum monarch points though, and the cost is so high, there is no incentive to continue to use the mod. My suggestion is to make it so over time the cost reduces or you make it so that the cost flunctuates depending on how many provinces the nation has and how many times the nation used the decision to make developement.

What happens if I install it on my game then uninstall it later? Will my game continue to work well?

@Christ Forever King
That's a good thing, your supposed to proceed to paint the map with them if that ever happens.

Is this updated to 1.13?

I ran into something weird today, I was playing as Ainu and I noticed no one had teched up yet besides me and it was 1521, They seriously only spent their monarch points on provincial upgrades.
Live_Feed 9 Aug, 2015 @ 12:38pm
i see. Thanks for the response
CptWesley  [author] 9 Aug, 2015 @ 10:02am
@Gimboid, it's not like in common sense, with common sense you can choose what province you upgrade.
Live_Feed 9 Aug, 2015 @ 9:52am
is it supposed to be random which provinces get the bonus when you take the decision? Is that how it works in Common Paywall? Thanks for your efforts, mate. I'm not going to shit on you for being a legend and putting this out

Before anyone else comments I filed a ticket to Paradox Interactive asking whether or not these mods are considered acceptable to them. If they say no, I will remove the mods from the workshop. Please do not bother writing any more comments like: Reporting this to Paradox, or other things. If you want to report it, just report it.

@Avenger5998 Also included further information in the mod description to clear up further confusions. Also, I don't like removing comments, because I feel like I'm censoring the media, so if you understand what I did and agree that this is just a confusion I would appriciate it if you removed your comment. Thank you for taking the time to read all of this.

@Avenger5998 All the code in the mod is made by me. Every line of code is handwritten or copied from other parts of my code. None of this is an extract from the DLC. I am in no way publishing any copyrighter content. I have not even seen the DLC file contents, because I don't even own it. The only similair thing is the concept of increasing the development of your provinces and the costs sort of (not entirely). It's done through different methods and with different code. I can understand the confusion. I could elaborate more on this if you want, that's why I added you on Steam. And to answer you question: It would feel like shit, but that's not what I did. I'm giving away my own work for free, not Paradox's work.
ObscureEffigy 31 Jul, 2015 @ 12:43pm
Kinda a dick move dude. How would you like if you made something and then someone else gave it away for free?
Korstrynn 30 Jul, 2015 @ 3:48am
Also, CptWesley, you're my hero! :D
Korstrynn 30 Jul, 2015 @ 3:48am
@Tamassran I guess it's not much a mod's problem as an AI issue on Paradox's side, since spam happens both with and without DLC.
Susie 29 Jul, 2015 @ 3:53pm
@CptWesley I don't know what to tell you other than it still happens for me. I'm not running any other developement mods.
CptWesley  [author] 29 Jul, 2015 @ 12:01am
@Tamassran I asked some friends who own the DLC and they say it's pretty normal there as well.
Susie 28 Jul, 2015 @ 11:55pm
@CptWesley I don't have Common Sense and almost every single nation in the game is repeatedly spamming the decision. WEnt to 1550 in observer and Every single OPM had over 45 developement.
CptWesley  [author] 28 Jul, 2015 @ 10:58pm
@Tamassran as far as I know the AI also upgrades their provinces if you have the common sense DLC, the AI only upgrades it's provinces here if it has way too much monarch points, basically when it's ahead of time in one of the 3 trees. Tech trees and ideagroups still have a priority. The only problem I've run into is native american OPM having 60 development in their provinces, which I'm trying to fix. If there are any other things that ruin the game balance, I added you so you could eleborate.
Susie 28 Jul, 2015 @ 10:41pm
The AI can use this decision, ruins game balance.
FakeF1agger 28 Jul, 2015 @ 1:34am
You're amazing dude! Thanks for this mod! rated +5 :D
Kattenelvis 27 Jul, 2015 @ 1:53am
You, are awesome!
CptWesley  [author] 26 Jul, 2015 @ 11:30pm
@Kattenelvis yeah..that was sort of the point of me making this mod, btw you could also check out my "Increase Government Rank" mod so you can also do that without owning common sense ;)
Kattenelvis 26 Jul, 2015 @ 3:20pm
Thanks! gona use this while not having common sence yet
CptWesley  [author] 23 Jul, 2015 @ 4:04am
@Toby Del development 0-10 = 50, 10-20 = 100, 20-30 = 150 and so forth, sort of equal to the default developments
Toby Keko 23 Jul, 2015 @ 3:36am
how much does it cost?
