Loving the Vancouver based stuff...Just wish BC Place stadium was made, oh and the library downtown!
Windows 95  [author] 6 Jul, 2016 @ 5:45am
Read the rest of the comments, Red is the default line colour. Change the line colour of your trains.
Jeebs 23 Apr, 2016 @ 9:56am
Question - is it the same length of the normal trains?
Captain-No 4 Jan, 2016 @ 12:33pm

I'm surprised this train is not in NO's Canada collection.
matt4756 29 Nov, 2015 @ 5:26pm
how do you change it?
Windows 95  [author] 29 Nov, 2015 @ 10:06am
that's a feature of the train... the colours change as per the assigned colour
matt4756 29 Nov, 2015 @ 9:38am
I will take a screenshot.
Windows 95  [author] 26 Nov, 2015 @ 5:18pm
You seem to be the only person experiencing this issue. please explain
matt4756 26 Nov, 2015 @ 2:43pm
I have a issue. The colours of the trains are a bit weird....
matt4756 22 Nov, 2015 @ 5:08pm
Mark 2? I live here in North Van, so yeh.
Windows 95  [author] 5 Nov, 2015 @ 10:03pm
a bit carried away with Kerbal Space program right now.
After I finish the GO Train on my WIP folder I'm going to work on a Hong Kong Train, and then return to Translink.
AFrame14 5 Nov, 2015 @ 5:38pm
Is it possible that you can make the Mark 2 and 3 livery trains?
Kokaak 30 Oct, 2015 @ 5:16pm
Please do a Mark II train!
Racockon 11 Oct, 2015 @ 1:13pm
This is really great, could you make a buss witht the livery from Greater Vancouver?:highlvl:
Windows 95  [author] 8 Oct, 2015 @ 9:26pm
it's an in-game limitation. The game does not officially support "two-ended" trains, and so the game still labels one side of the train "front", and the other side "back". The light-cone will only show up if the "front" side is leading the train.

To my knowledge there is no way of fixing this yet. As i am not a programmer all I can do is wait for a fellow modder to fix this issue.

Lighting the reds: working on that right now. There is no official guide on illumination for vehicles so it's all trial and error right now. Although another vehicle modder has gotten his trains to light up using the diffuse colour, when the same technique was applied to my texture maps it just showed up as a generic white/yellow light.

Thanks for your patience.

Hey, thanks for updating your trains for After Dark!

One thing I noticed was that the cone of light for the headlights don't appear on the yellow-and-blue MK I livery. They appear on the red-and-blue side however. Other than that it's really great.

One little thing: do you think it's possible to make the red lights on the top side of the front of the car be illuminated? I know that the trains in real life have a trailing red light.
Post-Opulence 28 Sep, 2015 @ 12:36am
No worries. Take care, sir!
Windows 95  [author] 27 Sep, 2015 @ 4:32pm
Regarding Updates (liveries and After dark): I have some other stuff in my life to take care of right now, and am taking a break from modding. Expect updates in mid-october

"More liveries coming soon, stay tuned!" Currently very tuned. So excited to see Vancouver specific assets! Please update if you find the time!

:D
Windows 95  [author] 2 Sep, 2015 @ 11:00am
I'm sitting on the Canada line (Roundhouse station) typing this message:
I'll do that soon after i finish a few more things on my workflow. Got a bit of studying to do as well. Be patient but it's definiately coming!
Gear 2 Sep, 2015 @ 10:42am
Do Canada Line!!!
pilotharrison 13 Aug, 2015 @ 1:47pm
The description is so accurate :D I live in Vancouver and that is the struggle....
Would you do a paint of one in the new post-refit livery, the grey one? It's literally the white-blue-yellow livery but with grey replacing the white....
Streetlamp 27 Jul, 2015 @ 11:31am
Hey, thanks for making this thing. I love the way these cars look. Will you be doing a flat color version? I live in Toronto and we have a branch of our transit system using these things and I would freaking love a TTC SRT version.
GoldAndBlue 27 Jul, 2015 @ 10:23am
Dont't make me go political with that rather inaccurate description, lol.
But otherwise, nice work. Have plans for the Mark II or upcoming Mark IIIs?
swingnosefrog 23 Jul, 2015 @ 10:49am
I just noticed the expo line livery car number is 604 and the millennium line livery car number is 778.

Your attention to detail is absurd. Thank you.
Windows 95  [author] 23 Jul, 2015 @ 12:50am
Thanks DontCryJustDie. Looks like it just sat there with the update button unclicked. Should be fixed now.
DontCryJustDie 22 Jul, 2015 @ 7:03pm
@Captain Picard you haven't uploaded the new version yet, look at the change log no update was done.
Windows 95  [author] 22 Jul, 2015 @ 5:38pm
translink cut the budget again despite getting another 100 billion dollar funding.
blame the compASS card.

all jokes aside... as the description says this asset was made using a beta mod. I'll do some more testing when I get home.
swingnosefrog 22 Jul, 2015 @ 10:24am
I tried the Boreal colour correction; works great.

I'm also having the same issue as A_Thousand_Suns7 where I don't get any millenium line cars, only a 2-car set of the expo livery.
Windows 95  [author] 22 Jul, 2015 @ 6:26am
no problem man. even if you didnt ask for i, it would have been published these few days as well as I dont take requests unless its from a donation. as for the colours. try playing the game with a different colour correction. the game's standard colour correction has some problems. i actually sampled the same papercrafts you have.
swingnosefrog 22 Jul, 2015 @ 5:30am
Here's the images of the papercrafts. https://www.flickr.com/photos/jmv/sets/72157622988887112/
It has the Mark I Expo Line, Canada Line, and darker Mark II liveries.
swingnosefrog 22 Jul, 2015 @ 5:18am
Thanks! I was the guy who asked you about if you were considering making the SkyTrain but I didn't expect it this quickly. Thanks so much for contributing great content to the Workshop!

One thing I noticed was that the Expo Line livery seems a bit too saturated. The millennium line is fine (maybe the blue could also be less saturated). I have an papercraft image of the expo livery that I'll put in a separate comment when I can find it; maybe you could sample the colour from there.

Thanks again!
AThousandSuns7 21 Jul, 2015 @ 1:12pm
This is pretty cool, looks exactly like the real thing. :pleased:
