The link should include a txt file that contains the answer.
.../Steam/steamapps/common (or your profile name) /Galactic Civilizations III/Gfx/Factions
They should be under Gfx: LeaderBGs, LeaderFGs, Logos, Portraits
(the file names show where to put them, they are identical to the basic files)

Part of a set 3/7 that according to their trait alignments are meant to be played against each other.

I seriously don't have any idea why this is happening... :S I reamde them again from scratch. Now this might only be some workshop or GC error. Further fixes are needed, I guess. Check the actual folders if the images are there or not. If not, it can only be a download problem. If yes, you can add it manually I hope... sorry, I have no more ideas now.

The image isn't displayed if you look at the faction when creating a new game. I didn't bother to test if its displayed if you actually meet the faction.
