CBP states that this mod is compatible, but it isn't working for me. Am I doing something wrong? I did put it in compatability mode.

How to use different presets at the same time? So I can use two or more presets for each unit like air units and ground units.

how to rename unit with the type name instead of combatclass name?
i change the nameCombatClass to combatClassSetting.UNIT_TYPE.ID in namesettings.lua but it not works, still rename with combatclass name.

Now I'm confident of it. It's not conflicting with any other mods either, because even if the only mods on are Contextual Unit Names+add-on, it's still broken.

I am 95% sure, that unfortunately this mod is breaking the aircraft UI in my savegames. Either with or without the add-on, the small UI from where to select aircraft stationed in city/carrier is broken. I use a lot of mods, but I have narrowed the problem down to this mod. I absolutely love the mod, but I've had this problem for some time now and it's getting quite annoying.

Is there an easy way for common users to localize unit names added by this mod? I'd like to have cyrillic (e.g., Russian) ones.

Such a great idea for a mod. As a matter of fact I had thought about sth like this myself even before I learned this mod existed (the same thing happened with Map Labels). Pitty it doesn't play too well with EUI and I can't go back to EUI-less Civ any more

@peters it worked for me. The naming is based off the type of unit rather then the unit's name it seems.

Is this mod compatible with mods that add additional unit types? Like Poukakai's Enlightenment Era?

Could you please make a version that doesn't show untit class in captions...without forcing me to use your Addon? I use other mods that collide with it, and also it doesnt work if i compile mods to DLC so me and my friends can use it in our Multiplayer sessions.

im just going to say that i miss read 15th artillery of Delhi as 15th artillery of death and i legit thought that sounded amazing, other than that its a pretty cool mod

When my units get upgraded it keeps the old units name (1st treb of washington should be 1st artillary of washington) other than that i love it!!

I like this mod very much but I have sometimes a problem with the names. After upgrading my units I get the numbers again if I recruit a new unit of the same type.

Why is custom not one of the options for the overall preset? I can set each era to Custom I, but the overall preset takes priority.

Great Mod! Although I've been having a problem with new promotions. In one mod I have, Bloublou's Promotions Expansion Pack, the new promotions don't seem to show or take any affect. I have not had these problems without your mod and I was not using any other 'promotion interfering' mods. Thanks

@abijeet95 I'm about to try out your mod in single player, and I already love the concpet. If this could be multiplayer compatible too, where each player gets to chose their own format system, and etc... It would honestly be one of the greatest things ever. It's the little things that make the game, and this is definitely one of them.

@Charlemagne Did you have the optional non-human units naming option enabled? It adds a lot more info to be saved. If you have that enabled, try disabling it and seeing if there was difference (try on a new game though). I will work on optimizing the mod save data though.

I like the mod but it does seem to add a lot of time to loading and also there's some stuttering when a unit gets a new name.

@zArkham4269 Thats a good point. Will add these names in next expansion. The reason I had just "Infantry" as a name, because every culture, had different names in different eras.

Should different unit types get different names like warrior = warband, spearman = phalanx, swordsmen = bretwalda pikeman = tercio, musketmen = fusiliers, riflemen = regiment, WW I-II infantry = division and mech infantry = brigade (or more properly BCT for brigade combat team)

This mod was great I loved the setup for the custom presets, I just couldn't get over the fact that the units weren't updating there names.

@American Hero Chris Brown You can get it as a direct download, or click "Subsribe", some users were having problems, so I also gave them a option for a direct download. You don't need both

@PurePlatinum, Are you saying you couldn't rename units when you click "Edit"? Were you using my add-on, or Kaluraks, "UI - EditUnitNames 3" ? Technically that is not supposed to happen

I seem to ebcounter a glich with this mod so i cannot rename my units. Is this suposed to happen?
