I'm not sure how to ask this exactly since I want to remake mumbo's mountain myself from scratch, but then there's the conflicting map naming since the one I'm going with will have the characters, proper animation and textures, etc... but would you mind if I do? since there's going to be confusion between this one and the one I'm going to make later on after this other map of mine

Hello. Source engine props don't support vertex colors. I used a texture that blends into transparency and mapped it around the blending surface edges.
To lessen sorting issues with translucency, I've used:

"$alphatest" 1
"$allowalphatocoverage" 1

Now, the issue is, the client has to have AA enabled to make the effect happen.

I tried this map and it is really good. My only problem is that when I go out into the water. My screen hets bombarded with a big wall of pink 'n black texture.

Not sure if it is a problem with the map, or with my computer.

Yeah, ripped the models and created collision based on the faces of each model part. But trust me, the textures are a pain because Banjo-Kazooie uses vertex coloring on its models.

If I may ask, how did you make this map, did you recreate it using brushes, import map models from the game and add collision meshes, im very curious because I would like to recreate Spiral Mountain similarily to how you made this map.

The map is fun and nostalgic. With this I have seen: Rusty Bucket Bay, Click Clock Wood (Incomplete), Treasure Trove Cove, Freezeezy Peak, and now Mumbo's Mountain!

Now all we need is Mad Monster Mansion, Gobi's Valley, Bubblegloop Swamp, and Clanker's Cavern!
