That's just a function of its mounting points, is it not? I seem to recall that being mentioned somewhere. Why not just make them floor/bottom mount only? Problem solved.
Is this intended or an oversight? A fix, if not too much work, would be very welcome for me. :) Other than that, keep up the good work! The bathroom modules are in my top 3 favorite interior mods for sure.
I also would like to see a variant of the bathroom with the door include walls, floor and ceiling! A self-contained unit like that would save me a LOT of space, and coloring would not mess up the rest of my ship! Maybe have a "mirror" on the wall, and a rug on the floor. Oh, and some kind of lighting (nightlight maybe?) might be useful. Or not.
Other ideas that I've been looking for on my small ships (I make them with standard blocks, but they're pretty rough):
-Table with booth seats
-Bar with/out stool
-Microwave
-Refridgerator
-Stove/Oven (I throw in a small thruster as a burner)
-Chair & Desk with computer on it
-Radio (I use a block with mass cubes for speakers)
-Shelves
-Pinball machine
-Recliner (basically just your chair, nothing else)
-Entertainment center
Also, if I might request something I've wanted for a LONG time that no decoration pack has had: a food printer of some sort, basically a food dispenser in the style of a Star Trek replicator. Being space ships, and often of limited size, my things often just don't have room for galleys, especially multiple galleys. This isn't exactly outlandish; this is something NASA has been working on for years (eg http://www.howwegettonext.com/Article/VOsZlSwAACdVL0h0/could-3d-printing-food-in-space-make-mars-travel-possible#.VcPO3K1sRaQ ) and having these in place of a galley near every single mess would really be a great way to save space on my ship without having to sacrifice plausibility on my interiors, not to mention it'd just be something nice to have in the various lounges, etc, where, again, I don't want a galley or to be limited to just a coffee machine.
A book case in the same style as the gun rack
some sort of printer?
fish tank
suit cleaning sytem
wall shelves.
A bar
Medical stuff
Lights
Game tables
I do have one suggestion, though. I'm not sure how feasible it would be, but a block like the stock interior corridor block, that you can walk through the middle of, but with racks on either side would be awesome. To get an idea of what I mean, here's a panorama shot of a berthing space on a real-life submarine:

I'm not sure if you could get a believable rack size on both sides and still have enough room for the player to walk through, and three racks high probably won't allow for the player to lay in the rack as a bed without some major clipping, but if you could get a corridor block with double racks on either side, or even just one side, that would be awesome.
There's a call for curved seats, like the one Eikester did in his decoration pack (1 I think). I think it was 3 models, straight, corner and inverted corner. You can line walls with these.
Stuff is just getting better and better.
Just one thing - the toilet block, could it look more 'spacy'? The idea of toilet block, wash basin and door in one is brilliant.
