Thank you, I do truly appreciate the kind words! <3

Main thing holding me back currently is my financial situation. I'm applying for disability again, but it may be denied again. Beyond that my best hope comes from crowdfunding & to a lesser extent, investors/venture capitalists.

You keep on getting better. I failed horribly at trying to mod and am wishing for your return after things get better for you. Love your mods

We're making decent progress! Farming, crafting, asteroid mining is semi-functional. Most of our focus at the moment is the inventory system. Cargo containers display their contents on display panels on their sides. Oxygen distribution between rooms & air vents is working (for when rooms are vented or filled with deadly gases!)

You're always welcome to join my Discord, the more the merrier!

All pictures I share social media are shared on Discord first.

The good news here is about your improving health. All the rest is secondary. I remember the video you posted when you announced you were on a hiatus because of your disease. Broke my heart. I'm actually watching Project Universe from a distance, wondering how it's going to pan out. It's a pretty cool project, lots of good ideas. All the best luck on that as well, good people like you deserve it.
Shaostoul  [author] 29 Apr, 2021 @ 2:11pm
I'm doing much better! I want to return to modding Space Engineers, unfortunately being broke courtesy of Crohn's rendering me bedridden demands I continue focusing on Project Universe as my best hope for a livable income. Maybe when I can afford to move some where with fast enough internet for livestreaming I'll see about updating all my SE mods.
Fat7i Bonané 29 Apr, 2021 @ 8:27am
Hey I hope you're getting better. Modding community sure isn't what it used to be without you, your ideas and commitment. We miss you.
Shaostoul  [author] 7 Oct, 2020 @ 3:05pm
My health is improving, all I have to do is stay in bed & give it time. Work wise I'm developing my own game with the community that grew from my modding & teaching of modding for SE. It's grown quite a bit since Jan 2019, dev is going faster than expected thanks to volunteers. All we have to do is continue dev, find more willing volunteers & get funding whether it be crowdfunding or investors. Not sure how long acquiring funding that'll allow me to hire devs will take.

You're certainly welcome to try to revitalize my mods, though you'll have to update the XMLs/SBCs with the latest version of SE. I can't help, but peeps in my Discord or the Keen Discord should be able to.
Demon47G2327 7 Oct, 2020 @ 6:47am
I understand chrones all to well man. Love and miss using your mods. I really hope that you can get the treatments needed and able get back on your feet. I am considering learning how to make mods myself. If I do figure it out may I try to revitalize a few of your mods?
Shaostoul  [author] 5 Dec, 2019 @ 4:41pm
Thank you, you're welcome, and it's going very well! 2020 is shaping up to be wicked awesome for the success of Project Universe.
Anubis 3 Dec, 2019 @ 2:36pm
Thank you for the years you put in SE modding, hope your new gig works out for you.
Belfontan 24 Nov, 2019 @ 12:20pm
Thank you for your efforts!
Shaostoul  [author] 5 Mar, 2019 @ 10:09pm
Hey guys, I'm so sorry to do this to you, but I need to work on my future for concern of not having one if I'm not careful. Please check out the video added to the description discussing me going on hiatus from modding Space Engineers.
Shaostoul  [author] 8 Nov, 2018 @ 6:25pm
We'll see. I'm presently trying to figure out what would be a more profitable venture for me at this point in time for modding as I can't work due to Crohn's Disease and I was recently denied disability. Space Engineers has little to not money in it for me so, I'm considering other video games right now. I unfortunately have bills to pay and to update this mod, I have to remake it from scratch as I've lost the source files when my HDD died in Oct last year.
Zantulo 8 Nov, 2018 @ 6:17pm
I can do you several months' better, Feraicus.
I agree with Feraicus' suggestions, although at the same time I like the look of these models, I just would prefer something less flashy. To contribute something of value, please do not make the ports freaking yellow. Yellow...yellow everywur!
Feralcus 7 May, 2018 @ 12:58pm
Late reply ftw lol
Personally, I prefer a more subtle look. Like lightly textured flat steel grayish?, or maybe some kind of more complex industrial look? Like with hardcore safety markings and roughed up metal and such?

With the shape on these things they could actually look good as structural members in adition to being functional conveyers...
Shaostoul  [author] 10 Apr, 2018 @ 9:41pm
Hey guys, so I have to remake the models for these and would like some input. Do you like the shiny finish? Do you think think a different paint job would be more ideal? They'll likely be receiving the conveyor port that looks like the vanilla one, since all my new stuff is using the vanilla port now.
Shaostoul  [author] 3 Sep, 2017 @ 8:58pm
They should be compatible. I don't think there's any real difference.
Myst Leissa 3 Sep, 2017 @ 6:48pm
Stupid Question: Can these be mixed with Vanilla convyers? Or will I have to rewrite my entire blueprint to accomodate 1 small adaptor block?
T.Williams 22 Jan, 2017 @ 2:33pm
Awesome. Looking forward too it =)
Shaostoul  [author] 22 Jan, 2017 @ 1:38pm
Sure, I can certainly add that. It'll be a while, I have a large backlog of stuff to do.
T.Williams 22 Jan, 2017 @ 5:20am
Can we get a 1x1x1 Sloped Conveyor so you can stack them at a 45 Degree angle, only thing your mising for a perfect set of conveyors

Cheers in Advance

UPDATE: October 28, 2016

WARNING: Sometimes mods corrupt when updating. Locate the 9digit number in the URL that corresponds to a 9digit.sbm file in the AppData/Roaming/SpaceEngineers/Mods folder. Delete that SBM file and it will force a redownload.

Finally! It took a while for me to get the update out since I got home from Florida but, all is well! My cousin's brain surgery went fantastically and he's returned to work. It's lovely to be back in Washington and have everything back that I missed. IE: My computer, bed, and amazing well water. :P

Thank you everyone for your wishes and being patient during that difficult time.

-This update brings everything to the current Stable SE version.
-Steam thrusters were quieted and white box shouldn't appear.
-Glass should be fixed.
-Many texture fixes to be in line with the new renderer.
Shaostoul  [author] 24 Sep, 2016 @ 1:36pm
I know they changed the render engine, so it's probably broken a lot of my stuff in that regard.
Vas 24 Sep, 2016 @ 1:16pm
Could be that I'm on the dev version and they changed how lights work in Dev version.
Shaostoul  [author] 24 Sep, 2016 @ 1:03pm
Nah, it's fine. I meant for it to light underneath like that but, it may be messed up if it's super dark and not bright like it used to be.
Vas 23 Sep, 2016 @ 10:37pm
I figured out what it was, the lights (which barely show at all) are under the grey thing that hides them. All it does is change color under it, no light at all so I have to get really close to figure out if its on or not. I can show screenshots if I need.
Shaostoul  [author] 13 Sep, 2016 @ 2:17pm
Lame, maybe it got broken at some time. I'll revisit them when I get the chance, get everything working again.
Vas 13 Sep, 2016 @ 1:21pm
None of the tubes do anything at all with lights. I see some bumps in the tube that look like they should be lights, but nothing happens.
Shaostoul  [author] 13 Sep, 2016 @ 10:12am
Ah, I see. Thank you. :)

As for the lights, they should have some on the tube and the corner tube. Last I updated this, they didn't work on anything other than those two.
Vas 12 Sep, 2016 @ 12:28pm
Yea, I know about that. I just wanted to suggest stuff now and all that while I'm here and it will be here when you eventually get back. If I knew how, I'd try and help out by updating some of this for you and try to fix some issues but you're far better at modding than I am. :P
Shaostoul  [author] 12 Sep, 2016 @ 11:16am
In the future sure, I'm presently down in FL. See description for details. Once I get the opportunity, possibly. Being down here has put me financially in a bad position, so recovering from that will be first.
Vas 12 Sep, 2016 @ 9:29am
By the way, how do you tell if the conveyors are connected? It seems that these conveyors have no indicator lights to show that they are properly connected. I thought that the little bump in each one would do that but it doesn't.

I have a request for this particular mod, that you make a junction type that has the 6 sides, that is air tight. I mean visibly air tight. I mean sure, I could use the default junction but yours look so much better that I'd like it all to match. I actually hoped that you'd have an armored (air tight) version of these.

As for armored, here's what I mean;
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=730076779 but using your style which looks so nice.

I'm trying to make a space elevator so I need sturdy looking strong materials. I also like closing in all the gaps to make things look and be air tight.
Shaostoul  [author] 1 Jul, 2016 @ 2:26pm
UPDATE:
-Steam Thruster 'should' be fixed and quieted down.
-Added support for the new variants system. (4000+ lines of code later)
-Cleaned up some code.
-No errors beyond "None File Extensions" present on release. I was able to place, grind, and weld all blocks without crashes.

The mod was released via the development branch, however no code changes took place that will break it for the stable branch. You will get a prompt about this, but you should have no issues.
Shaostoul  [author] 8 Mar, 2016 @ 10:46am
When it was made, people wanted it to stay small hard to see.
Дед Исай 7 Mar, 2016 @ 11:56pm
New icons look great! It is a pity that the conveyor is a very small light . It can be difficult to see where the conveyor gap (
Shaostoul  [author] 6 Mar, 2016 @ 2:32pm
UPDATE:
Added the TriCorner that's been requested.
Altered component costs for small and large blocks.
Altered icons (most importantly increasing size of the small conveyors)
Shaostoul  [author] 28 Feb, 2016 @ 8:16am
SMALL UPDATE:
-Glass texture changed temporarily.
-Many textures fixed, were behaving very weird, still more to do, lemme know if you see anything specific.
-Catwalk Stair should no longer be crashing
Shaostoul  [author] 2 Feb, 2016 @ 7:14am
BIG UPDATE:
-Near every single texture has be reworked to be better designed for better compression and smaller size.
-SLANTED FORCE FIELDS! I know, I know, took forever.
-DisplayName changes. Viewing block names in game should be significantly more pleasant.
-Assembler/Refinery storage capacity tweaked.
-New Gravity Generator
-Airlock door reworked a little bit to stop clipping issue.
-Airlock collision reworked slightly to hopefully stop so many explosions from unmerging.
-Hollow rotor is a little less explodey... Use with extreme caution.
-Many block position fixes, blocks finally showing up in block menu properly.

As with all big updates, if you have corruption errors. Delete the 9digitmod.sbm file located in appdata/spaceengineers/mods and redownload. No SubtypeID's were changed, so no blocks should vanish.
Shaostoul  [author] 10 Oct, 2015 @ 1:13pm
Hmmm, I thought I had a 3 way corner piece.
jgrif7891 10 Oct, 2015 @ 9:56am
If you're able could you make a 3 way corner piece? There's been a few times it would have been handy. Still an excellent mod even without.
Shaostoul  [author] 30 Sep, 2015 @ 12:06pm
To my knowledge, yes. I don't see why they wouldn't.
Ivar418 30 Sep, 2015 @ 10:27am
do they connect with the normal conv and tubes
Shaostoul  [author] 14 Aug, 2015 @ 5:17pm
You're always welcome.
crowbarzero 14 Aug, 2015 @ 5:16pm
No, thank you!
Shaostoul  [author] 14 Aug, 2015 @ 5:15pm
Thank you, I appreciate it.
crowbarzero 14 Aug, 2015 @ 4:59pm
Yeah it's working great
crowbarzero 14 Aug, 2015 @ 4:38pm
I'll give her a shot
Shaostoul  [author] 14 Aug, 2015 @ 2:19pm
UPDATE: Fixed the texture missing issue hopefully...
Shaostoul  [author] 13 Aug, 2015 @ 1:31am
No, they're supposed to be colorable... Guessing I messed something up. :/
