You're welcome. Once I have more free time I'll have to update all my SE mods.
Raptor-TJC 21 May @ 5:13am
Thank you so much.
Shaostoul  [author] 20 May @ 7:31pm
Hey, let me know if that does it for ya.
Raptor-TJC 19 May @ 12:44pm
no worries:steamthumbsup:
Shaostoul  [author] 19 May @ 12:04pm
I can try, but if it's 3D model related I have to recreate the 3D models since I lost nearly all of mine a few years ago.
Raptor-TJC 18 May @ 5:07pm
It's strange since it didn't break my ships, but the Torque (the rotation speed) is now frozen. Maybe that might be a problem.
Raptor-TJC 18 May @ 2:07pm
Since the Fieldwork Update comes out. Your rotor mod is outdated and stopped functioning. Is it possible to update the mod?
Shaostoul  [author] 18 May @ 1:38pm
Hmmm, well that's no good. Was there an update recently? Did it break other blocks? I've been out of the SE look for years now.
Raptor-TJC 17 May @ 6:40pm
Hi, I couldn't help but notice that the stators didn't move at all. They seemed like they're frozen in time. For example, I have recreated the Spitfire from the Iron Sky Franchise for a few years ago, but now recently they didn't work at all.

Hirnsausen ... Good to see this has changed, as you are listed as one of the Project Management Team leads for "Thrive" now
Hirnsausen 17 Jun, 2019 @ 5:48pm
A long time ago, I tried to develop a game called "Evolutions!" with a group of other persons. But then it happened what was supposed to happen: a small clicque of members decided to get all the fame, copied all ideas in our game development forum database, then hacked and destroyed our database, sent out bad e-mails about myself and trying to discredit me, created their own copy database forum, renamed the game to "Thrive", and deleted my name from all the documents.

Since that time, I admit i have lost my appetite to trust other people. Maybe you can still find traces of those events when searching online...
Shaostoul  [author] 9 Jun, 2019 @ 4:05pm
That's what I've been working on. Marketing and networking. Trying to get more people to help get more followers too.
Hirnsausen 7 Jun, 2019 @ 11:53am
Okay, alright! Wishing very good success! If the game catches people, you will have a good income source through sales, I think. Keeping my thumbs crossed.
Shaostoul  [author] 2 Jun, 2019 @ 5:02pm
You can check it out. It's more like Ready Player One. We're combining all of the games into one. We already have 65+ business partners, just need to work on getting more.
Hirnsausen 1 Jun, 2019 @ 5:17pm
Is it a game where one can build a universe?
I once started the dfevelopment of a game called "Evolutions!" which had quite a good developmwnt rate and big community, until the idea and even the forum were hijacked by some who thought the time is right to take over our work. They then renamed it "Thrive", removed my name as game founder, and tried to develop it without the community. Our serveers were hacked and our forum disappeared, so all evidence gone.
Hirnsausen 1 Jun, 2019 @ 5:11pm
Thanks. :-)

Hey, cool! Then I wish you good luck and success with your game. If you ever need an alpha or beta tester, I am here.
Shaostoul  [author] 28 May, 2019 @ 2:13pm
I'm sorry, you'll have to find someone else. I'm developing my own video game now and am no longer doing anything for SE modding.
Hirnsausen 28 May, 2019 @ 11:05am
Also URGENTLY needed:
3-axis ball-joint rotor (regular and advanced).
Skeletor6669 17 Mar, 2019 @ 9:51pm
I know you're busy with other things, I was hoping you or someone could help with an issue I'm having. I've got the stator gap built but it's not transferring ore from my drills through to my refineries, is there something bugged with this? I haven't tried the other rotors yet as the stator gap is perfect for the mining base I'm building. Thanks!
Shaostoul  [author] 5 Mar, 2019 @ 10:09pm
Hey guys, I'm so sorry to do this to you, but I need to work on my future for concern of not having one if I'm not careful. Please check out the video added to the description discussing me going on hiatus from modding Space Engineers.
Shaostoul  [author] 1 Mar, 2019 @ 4:00am
Hello everyone, I wanted to give you an update as to what is presently transpiring. I'm developing a sci-fi video game, with a bunch of SE modders, and we just had this little opportunity pop up: https://www.facebook.com/Shaostoul/posts/10218897253681722

If SE sponsors the development of this game (currently dubbed Project Universe), we could see a ton of updates to my SE mods, as I'll be able to safely work on modding a ton, while simultaneously working to develop my own game.
Coopertt 23 Jan, 2019 @ 12:07pm
thank you
Shaostoul  [author] 22 Jan, 2019 @ 6:16pm
UPDATE:
Fixed LOD1 from having messed up textures. This mostly affected Medium and Low graphics settings.

If you have any further issues, you can report it here or join my Discord and we can discuss it there.
Shaostoul  [author] 22 Jan, 2019 @ 5:52pm
When you set the graphics lower, what happens is it forces any models to use a low poly count LOD. So, the models you see above are the "base" model or LOD0. These are high resolution with all their little details. The models you're seeing are one step away meaning they're LOD1. I must've messed up on something. I'm fixing it right now.
Coopertt 22 Jan, 2019 @ 5:33pm
Does SE automatically optimize the game?
i dont remember setting it to low
Shaostoul  [author] 22 Jan, 2019 @ 4:18pm
Alright, I believe I found the issue. It's coming from the LOD models, as I believe you're using the low graphics setting. I'll try to fix it soon.
Coopertt 22 Jan, 2019 @ 3:01pm
they still work
Coopertt 22 Jan, 2019 @ 3:00pm
naw, still glitched
maybe its my PC
Shaostoul  [author] 22 Jan, 2019 @ 2:46pm
That's very weird. It's acting like I messed up on a UV. I'll ask my community as well. When I tried running the workshop mod, it was working fine.
Coopertt 22 Jan, 2019 @ 2:42pm
did change anything
ill try it again but first heres a screenshot
Shaostoul  [author] 22 Jan, 2019 @ 1:49pm
I just checked them on my end, they seem fine. Anyone else have IP0T's issue?

Try going to -> C:\YOURPATH\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\

And delete the folder -> 491320728

And then relaunch the game to force a redownload of the mod.
Coopertt 22 Jan, 2019 @ 1:39pm
the models seem to be broken
like there fullbright but not
fulldark?
Shaostoul  [author] 15 Dec, 2018 @ 7:01pm
Thank you :)

it uses the stator hinges to elevate the railguns. I wouldn't have been able to make the turret as small as it is with normal advanced rotors because their conveyor hatches are on the top and bottom, meaning I'd have had to put a conveyor another block out and either made the turret look super ugly or make it bigger. As I said before, I'm very glad this mod exists.
Shaostoul  [author] 15 Dec, 2018 @ 5:37pm
Got links? I could add it to the mod pictures.
Mindlessmrawesome 15 Dec, 2018 @ 4:46pm
also your angled motors made me able to build an amazing turret man, I'm so glad you made them. Keep up the good work!
Mindlessmrawesome 15 Dec, 2018 @ 4:45pm
oh sorry! It looks like it's all just one big rotor lol
I can see now that it is double sided sorry
Shaostoul  [author] 15 Dec, 2018 @ 4:31pm
You mean, kinda like the one on the left?
Mindlessmrawesome 15 Dec, 2018 @ 10:10am
what about a double sided rotor?
Shaostoul  [author] 16 Nov, 2018 @ 6:52pm
Thank you my dude! I'm glad you get enjoyment out of something I created. <3
Zantulo 16 Nov, 2018 @ 6:45pm
For anyone who doesn't like the oldschool textures, I covered mine up in Armor Panels (mod). Awesome mod, Shaostoul! You have several mods that I use that I would hate playing without.
CloudX420 7 Oct, 2018 @ 9:27am
sounds good, I found a mod that gave all rotors a 1000000000 max force. even then its not enough * just by a smidge haha
Shaostoul  [author] 6 Oct, 2018 @ 5:20pm
Try the biggest rotor I have in here. I might be enough?

<MaxForceMagnitude>30.24E+07</MaxForceMagnitude>
<PropulsionForce>4000</PropulsionForce>

That's its coded values.
CloudX420 6 Oct, 2018 @ 2:58pm
ah awesome! i got a mod that changes it to 1Mnm but doesnt look that is even strong enough for what i need haha
Shaostoul  [author] 6 Oct, 2018 @ 12:18pm
the 1x1x1 would be vanilla strength
all the others would be stronger
I unfortunately don't have a spreadsheet to show how much
You can go to appdata/roaming/spaceengineers/mods/491320728.sbm
copy it and paste it, rename it to Shaostoul - Rotors.zip
Please note the zip part, you're changing the file type so that you can unzip it
unzip it then you can go into the folder, data, then look in the cubeblocks.sbc
There's a force value for the stators, compare that to the vanilla ones
I'll make a spreadsheet when I feel up to it

1x1x1 = vanilla strength roughly
3x3x1 = 9x stronger than vanilla
2x2x1 = 4x stronger than vanilla
CloudX420 6 Oct, 2018 @ 11:14am
anyone know if the rotor strength is higher than the default ones? need to find one with roughly 2-3x strength to lift my mining rig boom haha
Shaostoul  [author] 9 Aug, 2018 @ 12:22pm
My health doesn't let me take much in the way of modding requests presently. You can pitch your idea and talk to me about it in my Discord though. If I like it enough, I'll try to make it work. It'll just be slow.
