haha, good to hear And yes, you cant upload designs with equipment, it takes it all off. Otherwise you would have to research specific tech just to unlock the ship (other than the hull size) and some races may not have access to some tech so it is understandable. Half the fun is gearing a ship with the tech you have anyway but can be time consuming. Anyway, enjoy. The Borg may be in a shipset when/if you get Crusades Best of luck

Hey again. Thanks for all your help. I actualy did figure it out. I was used to Gal Civ 2 so I didnt realize there was a download option availabel in the designer. When I clicked on it I found all your Borg ship designs available as soon as I had researched the required hull. I had to manually place my own weapons systems on the designs. I am not sure if you designed to be that way but I was able to place my own weapons and make the designs work. Great designs by the way, they look just as I would imagine the Borg would look in Gal Civ 3. Not to mention it was very gratifying sending one cube into enemy space and watching it wipe out an entire fleet by itself. Thanks again for your help and for awesome designs.

Hmm, that I do not no. It sounds like a bug and may need to report it to stardock. You could try downloading them individually from the Omnibus Collection, they should all be there too. I'll ask around to see if any one knows about this because the ships should work even if you dont have crusade. Some of these ships are heavy on the parts use aswell and may also be causing the problem. I am re-designing may of the parts I made for them so they wont use as many parts and will make a shipset race for them (for the crusade) but that will take time.

I am able to use the faction. But none of the ship designs show up. I subscribed to the ships also but that didnt seem to make a difference. Is there a file I am supposed to modify to make this work? Or would I have to get the "Crusades Expansion"?

It may not recognise the pic in the faction folder since the arrival of Crusades? I will be re-making all races and ship styles into shipsets one day.

I would really like to use this race but keep getting the unknown appearance error. I am new to this so any help with how to get your mod to work would be greatly appreciated.

Asmith152. This is the faction race only (description, colour selection, Icons, pics etc), go to Collections if you want all my Borg ships and the race faction. I am still adding to the collection when I get the time to do so. There is a drop down tab hiding up the top left or view all my shared files and there is a collection tab there too.

does the factions come with ships? or is it withoit then you have to download them?

oh also i plan to play the borg with all the borg ships i found and thanks for my favorite rommy ship the D'Derix Ship that is one sexy mother :) she will fill the ranks of my New Altarian Military nicely

we are aware, we have been sassimilating them into our collection, the original ocupants resistance was futile at best and now they serve us............. the borg!

always are the borg that one race i think of when i try to think about ultimate evil and power whilst having some level of control over both to me they are an unstoppable force of malevalence and cruelty and yet that force i myself aspire to more like just without the evil to be more in control of myself not the masses and to finally see another person have a go at making them is nice :) i will give this ago and see how i fare against something akin to how i think and feel (by the way i has aspergers as alot of people have actually called me a borg drone in real life this is why the borg is my favorite race they are survivors and do so at any cost)
