Okay.... Got all three legendary items, found the super secret room, but can't get to the pathway with the chest in the sewers.... We broke the chest from a distance, but we're wondering what's along the rest of the path. Is there another golden key so we can go to the pyramid? I think we've solved this campaign 95% and would love a hint on the chest and if there is another key for the pyramid, plzzzz, if anyone knows.

Phexion: thanks so much for this map. Played 2.5 hrs with my wife and we love it. Commented at times that aspects were better than the original campaign. Definitely going to look for your Osiris game next. Thanks a million for a couple hours of extra co-op fun in one of our favorite games.

Got the Battleaxe, I can't believe we missed that. I hate that we missed that. You're clever and I hate you. lol

As for the chest. We put another hour into it and... we gave up again. If it has to do with the reward for finding the Battleaxe we didn't actually see it because the third quite thoroughly sloshed party member yoinked it and we missed the item pickup text. Dunno, but yeah... we can't figure it out.

I love this game and I wish I had serious time to invest into making more maps, when you guys finish that one I did make another called the Temple of Osiris, its much better than Castle of Chaos and the room with the name is not what I was talking about but well done on finding that! ;)

Alright, well. We'll go and check again.
The actual campaign took us about 2 hours, we spent 3 hours just wandering trying to figure out where the Battleaxe might have been and whacking the walls downstairs with sticks trying to get to that chest (didn't work). If you're talking about the room with the name we got then that is done.
I'm actually pleasantly surprised you replied, we kinda did it in jest because Hammerwatch is gettin' older.

Hey there Positive Eggo! First of all, wow, 5 hours is amazing!

So with that chest you are referring to, I can't spoil it for other people who may read the comments but you do need to come back to that area later on in the game.

The Battleaxe can be found in the Castle but only if you can find something of many that is not like the others! ;)

Hey man. Your campaign came up in our local game night, we spent close to 5 hours trying to find everything and I think the night has caught up with us. We cannot for the life of us find the Battleaxe, or figure out how to get that singular chest in the sewers. Would love either a hint... or something. We can't let the campaign end like this.

I made this map over two years ago and it was my first but that isn't an excuse as to why it has not been updated after the constructive criticism. I just never had the time to sit down and iron it and work out the bugs but I am glad its still being played to this day regardless of bugs.

I want to say that one day I will get round to fixing it but its been two years and if its has not been fixed by then its probably not going to.

Miserable, miserable campaign if done in multiplayer. If one person ran ahead into a boss room, everyone else would get locked out, with no way of progressing except for that person soloing the boss. The very first door into the sewers doesn't work with multiple people. Opening key doors in the wrong order soft-locks the game. Almost every boss was impossible to do without cheesing. Would not recommend.

Played through as Warlock, took 1 hour 40 minutes. A good quality map though rather difficult as melee, especially the bosses.
There are some bugs however, the shield quest doesn't give rewards for one. But overall a good experience.

For the first Your dammed quest door don't work if you play with friends.

Pretty cool but I haven't played the whole map because first time me and my friend died in the castle and the second time I played alone and I decided to instead of using the golden key to open the castle I opened the door at Skeletwins book thingy and got the achivment Golden wonder but then I could not enter the castle.

cool map so far, but a bug makes it unplayable...Was playing with 4 people, I got locked in a boss room with my friends outside and died there, couldn't activate the checkpoint inside and now there's no way for us anymore to get in that room an continue playing...

I found the dragon, but another checkpoint was activated, and we were lock outside of the room.

That issues appears to happened randomly sometimes and I am unsure of how to fix that specific bug and the only way so far to deal with it is to have all players excluding the host leave the game while moving to the next map and then join.

It's a minor annoyance but it will allow you to continue with the game.

nice map. i have completed it playing in cooperative (2 players), completed in one evening.

First of all, Well done for at least finding the green door and I hope you got some stuff from finding it? As for the Battleaxem if you keep looking around the castle you'll find a way to acquire it. The Dragon is the only rush job of a boss I have done. I am thinking of making that into an extended battle and moving it into a near area. Good little adventure. A few things - Never did find the battleaxe and the green door was "inaccessible". Also I did not like getting trapped in the Dragon room... if I was not lucky to find a glitch I would have been stuck in there and died. The problem is the gate closes and if you are out of lives you are pretty much dead for good. I did find a lucky rare spot (upper right of dragon) and stood there firing arrows (point blank) into him and killed him. Other wise I didn't have any chance.. he was 1 shotting me pretty easily as a ranger.

I would just like to say thank you to all of those who have subscribed and played the map and have reported bugs and send feedback and even a big thank you to the developers of Hammerwatch.

They took time out of their schedules to come together to test the map and even though they experience some game ending bugs they continued to come back each time a new version was uploaded and I commend them for that and I highlight the fact that they love their game just as much as everyone of us do and to see a community of map makers and map testers come together is pretty amazing!

Thanks KidChris, I understand what you mean about the players being locked out of battle and the reason this happens because all bosses are on the same map there is no level loading screens which is the reason for the short campaign. I have been working on adapting boss battles to allow players from two or more areas to provide support if they are to get locked out of battle.

Cool map and nice sense of adventure! :) Wish it was longer and some bosses don't exclude other players from bossfights(posted in the feedback section).

I love how you have developed this custom dungeon and i keep playing it over and over again to check out whats new the fact there is a guard at the entrance to the stairs makes me want to play it even more every updated map keeps suprising me so much more love how your map is working altogether. one more thing is that some tiles for the floor have just became black thats the only problem i have had.:steamhappy:

The issue has been resolved but unfortunatly the reason has not be found as to why it occured so what I have done is moved all resources over to a new map and just connected scripts again and done some re-tiling and everything works.

Hey guys I have taken hipshot's advice and created an additional starting zone that warps players to the main map so it should be fixed now!

I would assume that it would work also if the starting map had a global event trigger on level load which warps players to the main campaign. My issue is that when playing multiplayer it loads multiple games and evidence of this is that you begin with 8 lives and the more players there are multiplies the lives by 8.
