No, this mod doesn't interfere with the limit. It just displays them. Other mods that change game behavior make you reach your limits early.
Remember, sidewalks and bus stops count toward road limits. I'm sure other mss-transit also affect this. Maybe the new bike lanes as well?
In my case, I had to disable Road Customizer and Improved AI in the Traffic++ settings for things to go back to normal. Not sure if it's an issue with Show Limits or Traffic++, however be quite careful to avoid headaches!
And +1 to the agent limit, if possible.
same with trees and a few other items.. not quite what i was looking for, so only used it once.
