You what would be cool? If you added a new chacter for Layton, he starts out with a rapier seeming as he fences. :3
But I dont know how hard it is to do stuff like that, so just a suggestion if you know how to do that.

Thanks Cheese2299, glad you like it! Do you mean the Mask of Chaos [layton.wikia.com]? I don't have the 3DS games but from what I understand, the mask has no actual magical qualities in the game. I'll think a bit more about what Necrodancer item could it replace.

Going back to the sound issues, I wrote down all conflicting files so it shouldn't take too long to fix those.

Don't know if this is possible, but since you asked for ideas in the coments, maybe a Miracle Mask item? Again, don't know if this can even be modded, but just one idea. Great mod, I love Prof. Layton!

Yeah, I've noticed the sound thing too and I will take a look at it right after I finish posting this.

Regarding "only visually changes 2 things", I understand that there is room for improvement(HUD, unique armor perhaps?). Is there any particular change that you think is expected and everyone would love to see?
Still, right now the description says "replaces Dove with Layton" so I doubt people subscribe to it expecting a full game conversion
