Only thing I can recommend at this point is to verify your SFM cache and unsub and resub to this workshop entry. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
My only thought at the moment would be the map. Is the model being imported into the skybox? That generally causes things to disappear. You could try unsubbing and resubbing(can't tell you how many times I've had to tell people that), that sometimes rejiggers it into working.
If you're having crashes, I would recommend turning off the bells and whistles before loading any maps. Right click on one of the render windows and select your rendering options. Turn off Ambient Occlusion and Progressive Refinement, then try loading a map.
If you are still crashing, verify the integrity of your cache, you may have corrupt files.
