Hey back with trying your scenarios for HS curve... wow!!!.. calling the Altoona yard a labyrinth would be a huge understatement.. and that too just one part of it!!! took a good part of an hr to get through this.. was a bit confused at first.. slowly cd work it out.. after dropping cars at freight station 8 was hoping the tracks wd switch automatically to freight stn 1.. but they were not.. went till Juanita gate and came bk.. the track was still aligned with stn8 but switched to stn1 as i passed over the switch.. enjoyed it!! onto the next one..:steamhappy:

Thanks so much. :) Just wait until he picks up his wife on the way to Johnstown.
badwebdiver 11 Jun, 2019 @ 12:59am
Understood. You're a great scenario writer anyway. (Al Toona is hilarious!) :D
RBJets  [author] 10 Jun, 2019 @ 8:27am
Also its an OLD scenario, sometimes the transfer from different version of Train Simulator messes with older stuff, I cant even upload scenarios for the BLE route since the TS19 switch.
badwebdiver 10 Jun, 2019 @ 12:52am
Sorry, it just won't work no matter what I try. Seems to be glitch with that siding, or those wagons there - almost like they've got brakes on to make the front wagon shake when you touch them. Does you copy have a 60 speed limit marked along there? It seems unusual.

As I said, your other scenarios work fine, from what I've done. Just that particular one is giving me bother.
RBJets  [author] 8 Jun, 2019 @ 9:18pm
Let me know if you get it to work. Thanks. :)
badwebdiver 8 Jun, 2019 @ 9:01pm
Thanks for the reply. All your other scenarios are great fun and work terrific.
RBJets  [author] 7 Jun, 2019 @ 6:42am
Clear cache from the TOOLS menu, also save after/before each task then if something happens just "resume" the scenario from that save point.
badwebdiver 7 Jun, 2019 @ 4:59am
I'm having a glitch in this scenario. Every time I try to pick up the third load of wagons (from Smith siding), they derail as soon as I touch them - even when going less than 1 mile an hour!!!

Thanks macjinty7800, better get busy. Should be only another scenario or two then I'm going to move on to the next route....what could it be.... (drum roll).....
macjinty7800 6 May, 2018 @ 8:44am
Great scenario for this route. Took a tad longer than 45 mins but well worth it. I'll be spending a lot of time on this route to complete all your scenarios.
RBJets  [author] 12 Feb, 2018 @ 11:54am
Altoona Yard is HUGE. Thanks Chris. :)
chris5012 11 Feb, 2018 @ 1:11pm
Wow that was some yard!! Very enjoyable with some complex manouvers to work out but it all came good in the end!! I was a little puzzled as to how to access Juanita Gate 01 towards the end but a couple of minutes scratching my head and it all fell into place! I'll play part 2 tomorrow after a good night's sleep!
RBJets  [author] 2 Jan, 2018 @ 1:48pm
lol, thanks Ken, very big yard. love it...plan on doing more there as soon as the return trip is done.
kengilbertson 2 Jan, 2018 @ 1:09pm
Started this one too. Hope I can keep track of everything you are doing. Interesting little wreck there in the yard, and oh yeah good to see the cow too. Thank you for all your work.
RBJets  [author] 27 Nov, 2017 @ 12:50pm
It is, that yard and Barstow on the Cajon Pass are huge.
Rammy 27 Nov, 2017 @ 12:17pm
My Goodness What a yard i Know American Yards are big but this is Huge Enjoyed it very much i can see we are in for a very busy Series. Thanks.
RBJets  [author] 8 Jul, 2017 @ 8:01am
Very welcome Warren. I plan on continuing this series soon. I'm thinking about using 2 seperate routes in a series..there is a coal trains that goes on the Norfolk Southern route throught Altoona to western Penn to deliver coal to a power plant...just an idea..
wadawes 7 Jul, 2017 @ 5:20pm
Since I'm now getting hooked onto your style of scenario, I thought I'd see what you might do with Horseshoe (one of my favourite routes). I wasn't disappointed, loved all that yard work with some challenges to find my way around that maze.
Thanks heaps RB, Warren
RBJets  [author] 10 Apr, 2017 @ 2:20pm
Thanks wiggy, this yard is so big I cried the first time i saw it.
wigbolts 10 Apr, 2017 @ 1:26pm
Fantastic. What a great yard and what a great scenario. Really had fun with this one. Thanks.
RBJets  [author] 7 Feb, 2017 @ 2:52pm
Thanks David that is a fun route to work on, that yard and the Barstow yard on Cajon Pass are intimidating at first but just gotta tackle on section at a time. beware of Al Toona!
david.angus1977 7 Feb, 2017 @ 2:45pm
That was brilliant fun! Enjoyed all the action, the AI and seeing round this mammoth yard. (Aren't these American Yards something else?!) Thanks for all your work in producing. It was good fun working out the route required to get from A to B, and thanks for your hints and suggestions at times! I'm certainly looking forward to the nest Part, and beyond that as well. Cheers, David.
RBJets  [author] 12 Jan, 2017 @ 12:15pm
Thanks brown eyes. Watch out for "Al Toona"!!!
brown eyes 12 Jan, 2017 @ 7:49am

RBJets  [author] 22 Aug, 2016 @ 6:27pm
Yea, heard to remeber how many silly trains i had running around that yard...its BIG!
keith.stroud.52 22 Aug, 2016 @ 2:14pm
Hi RB, another good scenario, going to parts I've never been before. Looks like a lot of AI but didn't get to see much as I was too far away, lol.
Regards, Keith.
RBJets  [author] 18 Oct, 2015 @ 5:31pm
Thanks NJRick. part 2 coming soon, love doing them, still learning...working on one now for NY/NH route.
NJRick 17 Oct, 2015 @ 1:31pm
Lots of fun, RB. As bri said, you're work it getting better......definitely.
b.eyre555 10 Aug, 2015 @ 12:23am
a good scenario -putting a couple of strings of wagons for christmas presants, bri
RBJets  [author] 9 Aug, 2015 @ 8:07am
thanks bri, i think part 2 you will assemble a freight then that means "part 3" leaving the yard kinda like the Cajon Pass scenarios...i'm am working on one now that will be kinda silly, but since we are expectng a baby in december this is the driving force in the next scenario. all fun!
b.eyre555 9 Aug, 2015 @ 3:59am
hi,this was a very well done scenario ,as this is a big yard very few of the guy,s have done a yard job in this yard, you could have a lot of work putting freight trains together, looking out for part 2 ,your work is getting better, thanks ,bri.
RBJets  [author] 8 Aug, 2015 @ 11:53am
Yea i just put a check in the "horseshoe curve" box when making the scenario...i think it automatically addeds some content because i didnt choose anything but "HSC" content.
Thad 8 Aug, 2015 @ 6:23am
You used Horseshoe Curve and US loco and asset pack.
RBJets  [author] 7 Aug, 2015 @ 5:51pm
I haven't got that DLC yet...i only used Horseshoe Curve DLC in the scenario. (I think) LOL...there are alot a accurate scenarios out there...i just make them for fun.
The Texas Railroadin' Weeb 7 Aug, 2015 @ 1:40pm
for more accurate freight cars, use the RF-16 Sharknose. It comes with period appropriate freight cars including a Tank Car, Bulkhead Flat and 2 boxcars
RBJets  [author] 7 Aug, 2015 @ 9:11am
Would you expect anything else? :) LOLO
Thad 7 Aug, 2015 @ 5:28am
heh heh... yet another yard work scenario.

And again probably with a very sarcastic video :steamhappy:
