Would it be feasible at all to use a different modding program?

Thanks!

@Skallabjorn Go ahead. Good Luck!

Author - Permission for myself and my team to take this mod and revitalize it?
Skallabjorn 19 Nov, 2019 @ 9:16pm
The glass is totaly invisible as well, block looks incomplete when built
Netherspark 5 Mar, 2019 @ 9:08am
Seems to cause infinite loading
Cruel Sun 5 Feb, 2019 @ 2:45am
The plant as decorative block. Without walls. It would be immersive.

Has anyone tried this since the recent changes to pressurisation? Two years since it's last update.
Skallabjorn 8 Sep, 2017 @ 1:46pm
would love to convert this to an actual "assembler" producing vegetables for processing into food packs
Skallabjorn 22 Jul, 2017 @ 5:08pm
Discovered somethign really cool about the "vent" on these. I deceded to use them as a "glass" door open acces to an arboretun from a mess hall area, and they act as a doorless "airlock" holding in atmosphere :).. LOVE THIS!

why don't working????
<Insert name here> 16 Jan, 2017 @ 1:56am
Great idea and nicely modlled but i feel the green is rather lacking for a oxygen farm there should be multiple rows stacked along the sides. just some thoughts for a possible improvement to the design.
Kham 22 Aug, 2016 @ 6:55pm
Woot, no problem man! Thanks for updating it, will be glad to get these back on our server. :D
Aidylheid  [author] 22 Aug, 2016 @ 4:04pm
Awesome. Thanks, Kham!!! I uploaded the fix. :)
Kham 22 Aug, 2016 @ 11:39am
Ok, with the changes I made, so long as you have both Oxygen and the new Airtightness settings enabled they appear to be working for me. Here's a pastebin of the full definition for the oxygen window farm block from the file I'm using, just in case I messed up and missed something I'd changed or something.

They changed something on Thursday about the default settings for oxygen and specifically pressurisation of rooms. I haven't actually played since Thursday so I'll pop in and check it out with the local edited copy I have.
Aidylheid  [author] 22 Aug, 2016 @ 6:55am
@Kham - Thanks but I made the change but I'm still not getting any oxygen output for some reason. The game keeps telling me that oxygen is disabled in my world even though I've enabled it in settings. I tried Airtight enabling which enables oxygen but may be why I'm not getting output. I haven't played SE since planets were added because it lags too much. I'll see if I can figure it out though.
Kham 17 Aug, 2016 @ 11:47am
Damn the lack of formatting in Steam posts. Here's a pastebin which preserves the spacing.

Ok yeah it is a very easy fix.
Just replace <MaxOxygenOutput>0.3</MaxOxygenOutput> with this

<ResourceSinkGroup>Factory</ResourceSinkGroup>
<ResourceSourceGroup>SolarPanels</ResourceSourceGroup>
<ProducedGas>
<Id>
<TypeId>GasProperties</TypeId>
<SubtypeId>Oxygen</SubtypeId>
</Id>
<MaxOutputPerSecond>0.3</MaxOutputPerSecond>
</ProducedGas>

The vent door still works fine without any edits, it's just the oxygen farm part which has received some code updates with the changes to gas production.
Kham 16 Aug, 2016 @ 6:33pm
I'll take a look tomorrow man. I remember figuring out how to fix it before but obviously didn't want to upload to workshop as it wasn't my work. I will send you a message when I've checked it out if that'd be ok.
Aidylheid  [author] 16 Aug, 2016 @ 4:10pm
Sorry Guys. I don't really play SE anymore and it was working the last time I used it. If something changed, it wasn't on my end. If you know how to fix it and it is is an easy fix, I am happy to adjust it on my end.
Dilly 16 Aug, 2016 @ 1:14pm
@Kham If I was any good at modding Space Engineers, and had the original creators permission, I would fix/update the mod.
Kham 16 Aug, 2016 @ 1:09pm
@bine_rahat yeah that's what I was saying. Vas thought I just assumed it wasn't working because it hasn't been updated in a while, but this mod actually stopped working quite a while ago and the modder hasn't shown any signs of interest in fixing it.
Dilly 16 Aug, 2016 @ 12:51pm
@Kham This mod has not worked in quite a long time. I miss using this mod. It was an interesting alternative to the huge air production/storage blocks.
Kham 16 Aug, 2016 @ 11:21am
@Vas, yes I know not all mods 'need' updated. But this mod does not actually work any more. Hasn't for several months now.
Vas 15 Aug, 2016 @ 6:17pm
Some of my mods that I made haven't been updated in more than a year, but they still work. Some mods are very little maintenance, and the change I request is extremely simple. Just requires copying the folder, renaming the mod slightly with a new tag (like the DX11 tag up there) and changing some values.
Kham 15 Aug, 2016 @ 10:44am
@Vas, this mod doesn't even work any more and hasn't been updated in a year so I highly doubt he'll be making a version which is compatible with that.
Vas 15 Aug, 2016 @ 10:35am
It would be nice if you could make a version of this compatible with the oxygen re-balance mod, the dev has already posted the values he used and given plenty of detail.

Hey @Aidylheid - I was wondering if you might be able to put all your interior mods into 1 pack which share 1 tab in the menu. It'd make life a lot easier.
Dilly 11 Apr, 2016 @ 11:29pm
I have the same problem with them not working. I wanted a nice space station with these instead of some huge air tank setup. Oh well.
Kham 29 Mar, 2016 @ 1:16pm
@Klistofklades, they're not actually working right now. When you check the control panel you'll see that even if lights are on, it's not producing any oxygen.
Klistofklades 18 Mar, 2016 @ 2:48pm
I can't seem to get this to work. I checked it out in creative just to be sure. I make the window box, and it says its making oxygen (2-3 green lights), but no matter what type of vent I use, it won't spit any air out. I connect a tank to it in creative, or an oxygen generator, and the vent spits out air just fine connected to the box...? Please Help?
Soulkeeper 8 Jan, 2016 @ 2:46pm
hey would it be poseble to make a block what makes a spheare or cube shape what would make a large field around a base or asteroid so i can pump oxygen in to it slowly to fil it up , the oxygen field inviseble to the eye but not the control block , and maybe a option to set a range for the oxy field
like a antenna so i can exspand my oxy field if i can place a second one ?
if you can make this with the mod tools?
BaconOnARock 1 Jan, 2016 @ 10:38pm
can you make a version with just the plants? no glass around them?
KainDeamon 6 Nov, 2015 @ 10:27pm
is it possible to make a light act like the sun so we can have indoor greenhouse oxy farms? a sunlamp i guess.
michael 5 Nov, 2015 @ 3:39pm
these blocks seem to produce 0 oxygen (as seen with Digi's Build Info mod)
Geeves 8 Oct, 2015 @ 1:24pm
Really loving this mod. Cool asthetics(spelling?) Mod out in space.
I do seem to have some issues with getting them to function though. I've placed a row (5) with the presupplied vent/doors in a wall on a fully enclosed room, They are all facing the sun for at least 1hour/day cycle, yet are not generating oxygen.

The vents are on 1 green block 24/7 and the farms are at 4/5 red all the times. Any suggestions? (the open area is inside the room)
Rikkavidu_GER 22 Sep, 2015 @ 6:44am
Good cool Mod. But the opened and close windowed End is bad seen before i build this Farm. Can you fix the "Construction"model for that? Thank you!
OperationDx 12 Sep, 2015 @ 11:17am
Like this mod slightly to many triangles would be nice if you could trim it back a little.
Princess Celestia 10 Sep, 2015 @ 3:05pm
I really like this block from an aesthetic standpoint, but the mechanics are confusing me. Pointing the side opposite the open end of the farm block towards the sun, as shown in the screenshots you've provided, gives a little over 15% output compared to the 98%+ of pointing the left or right sides towards the sun. But if I point the left or right sides towards the sun, I have to redesign the structure of the wall in order to attach the doorway block as shown. This seems to run counter to the goal of having a row of greenhouses built flush into a wall.

Have an example world to demonstrate my confusion.
Aidylheid  [author] 29 Aug, 2015 @ 2:17pm
I lowered the face count by 80% to improve performance. You should see a significant improvement. Let me know if you have any issues.
G.A. 26 Aug, 2015 @ 4:23am
aaaa nice
I would like begged you about the extended version of the block farms in the ratio of 1x1x3 and more.:steamhappy:
Maybe in existing blocks farms would have be better to add plants in levels above them.
Aidyn 17 Aug, 2015 @ 2:30pm
@seb_wilkins It is a SOLAR Oxygen farm, as per the name. As far as I know, something that is SOLAR means it is wroking with the sun's light. So yes, I would think that it does require light.
Teizan 16 Aug, 2015 @ 11:59pm
While It's nice, you can't actually ever expose the plants to space.

or really i have no idea what happens but you don't get oxygen production without carbon dioxide either way.

Also, compared to reg. windows, the glass on this block is too gaudy.
Visentinel 16 Aug, 2015 @ 4:50pm
I found that upping my corei5 to 4.2ghz solved the games performance issues even in heavy multiplayer, the games more CPU than GPU but a GTX970 doesnt hurt either.
xXDANKMORMONKUSHMASTERXx 16 Aug, 2015 @ 2:23pm
you copuld make a vertion that has two doors so you can make a coridor of these or a corner peice just ideas i love the mod
Raven4K 16 Aug, 2015 @ 7:12am
dose it also vent into a ship on it's own?
Kahn Bloodbane 15 Aug, 2015 @ 2:36am
awesome!
