My group and I were super hyped to use this mod, but I appear to be running into the same issue that many people have been reporting where the menu simply refuses to load any of the option selections. Part of me thinks it may be some sort of mod conflict with a commonly used mod, but I've tried putting it at the beginning, end and middle of the load order to no avail.

I have one full can of every color in my inventory and at least one copy in my secondary equip but no matter how many times I log out/back in, or sort through the buttons, no color or symbol option actually appears.

Clicking around the seemingly empty menus I can sometimes grab a color, and sometimes a symbol, but it's impossible to tell what I'm actually selecting until I try to pull it over the ground.

Fantastic mod and I hope someone's able to recognize the conflict (if there is one) or that a future update resolves this problem. It'll definitely be a requirement for every MP playthrough I have when it does.

invisible symbols in the UI?

How? How is this supposed to work? Because i get nothing when i click around. Does this even work in MP? Or is this singleplayer only?

i dont even have the color chooser on any of my categories, so i cant even try the solution you guys said

For those getting 'no spray paint of that color' make sure you have paint in main inventory. on the spraypaint menu navigate to the right and choose 'Special Characters'' as the category. There is a color picker in the window, choose the color here, then you can choose another category to paint what symbol. I can't get chalk to work, but i did get it to spray after a few clicks

You need to have the can of paint in your main inventory, and in the little box where you choose what to paint, find a category where your color appear on top and click the color before trying to paint anything.

It doesn't work, I tried all the solutions but it keeps telling me "non spray of that colour"

The hud icon is too distracting for me, i cant find a way to move it, its just so out of place. maybe i will add this back if the way its on the hud is changed / made customizable

Solution: Go to Special Character tab in the spray menu then choose a color there if you have spraypaint or chalk in you. I dont know why it doesnt have the color chooser on other menus/tab

Doesn't it work on the latest version?

Not sure if it's a mod conflict or what, but using a keybind for paint menu gives errors and the mod doesn't work at all with a controller. Nice for KB+M use though.

Man, the button to open this menu needs to be moved. it overlaps with other things and it's really annoying

Oh maaaan this would be the perfect mod to add actual road paints so when we build custom roads or expand existing ones we could emulate the look they have in the game. It's a shame they didn't add this option to the game baseline with the already existing paint system.
If you could add the road paints from the game to this it would be awesome.

There are 3 problems,
1. The icon can't be moved by mouse.
2. When character died and click 'new character' to living create a new character into game, mod cannot be used anymore because the icon disappears and can't open up the window to use.
3. There are no title and spray paint items translation ID, so now these things couldn't be translated.

Has anyone had the issue where spray-painted items are solid and have collision?

Can you add some industrial symbols to help organize a base? (yellow strip lines for caution, "stand clear", "loading", "unloading" areas etc.)

I really like the idea of using this kind of stuff for marking things. I'd really love to finally be able to use that chalk. Solid mod at the moment, it'll be great if chalk finally works.

I can't seem to get chalk to work at all. (no color selection like with the spray paint) also the icons are really small.

Would painting on walls be possible eventually? Or having a specialised sign tile that can be spray painted on?

I see an typo in "media\lua\shared\Translate\DE\UI_DE.txt".
Should be "UI_DE" and not "UI_EN"

Turkey I've been looking for a mod that allows me to paint hazard stripes and loading/unloading marker stripes, can I do it with this mod? (painting straight lines at least?)

I'll rework the mod, if the new version b42 comes out, which will change the crafting system and how items work. The mod has to reworked anyway.
- And than I could add crayons too.
- Later I can look into controller implementation.
- Just a version with chalk seems not logicly to me -> sorry that I haven't implement them yet.

Is there a way to restrict the alphabets to be used only by Admin only? Didnt want people to be tagging the floor with profanity, hateful and discriminatory wordings.

mmm don't have spray paint of that color, read the fix in the comments but it didn't work, the itemes spawn the symbol appears it just dosen't work for me anymore.

Unfortunately, this mod conflicts with some other mod, but there's no way to find out which one due to how little information error messages display. Had to unsubscribe from it.
