As of now it seems that the admins removed (or gave back to their rightful owners) all of the mods the thief had uploaded on Gamemaps. I took some precautions on most of my old addons and will be doing it to future mods as well if I continue to make more stuff for the workshop. Hopefully things will calm down a bit.

Glad to hear that people still want me to continue my work. Due to some major bs events I've had in real life I've stopped modding for the time being, because making addons is a hobby and is of secondary importance.

I'm still half sure about what to do and will need time to clear my head. Of course it makes me smile that there are people who look forward to what I make :) But I haven't had much time for myself lately and I'm going to take a hiatus from the workshop.

Next is to make sure that thief is stopped and canned for good, and then thirdly is to release these mods intermittantly, to make sure these mods cannot be stolen.

The First order of buisness would be to shut down the mod thief, then proceed with mod development at your own pace, second, making sure nobody else Steals these brilliant mods.

I loved your mods guys, it's a really nice work :) hope you don't stop doing it and this just a break meanwhile that fucking thief is stopped :) <3

Yeah, it makes you think how easy it sometimes is to claim other people's work. Especially if the modder who originally made it isn't that well-known. Of course I've done my fair bit of researching and found the thief's Steam user which clearly shows the person doesn't even own Left 4 Dead 2. If they do then they own a pirated version. Needless to say all of the said user's mods are stolen. I've seen them over the workshop here which is their origin. I think Gamemaps needs more admins to keep those kind of people in check.

It's sad to think about quitting. I didn't really expect to get this much good feedback on our mods when we first started creating them. Maybe I'll just take a long break or release new mods in a slower pace. This is something I really need to think about.

As Kitten's co-modder, I will stop as well due to the same incident. We don't take kindly to someone stealing and claiming FREE mods that we worked so hard for, and as such any motivation to keep creating mods for this game is gone.

Also, to make matters worse, the mentally challenged idiot, who keeps stealing other people's content, has not been stopped from doing that. How could one person create more than a hundred mods in a month?

Hey guys! I'm sad to inform you that I might release one final mod and probably stop modding in general. It's really draining because of a person who put them on gamemaps and is claiming to be the maker of them (the worse part some people actually believe them). Thought I got some help from an admin but the user still keeps insulting me and avidly defending their own lies.
Once again, I'm sorry that I had to make this decision...
