@licflagg, it is possibile to make using the content I provided
licflagg 29 Oct, 2017 @ 7:48pm
Would it be possible if you add a solar eclipse panel?
Fruitpunch 8 Jul, 2017 @ 7:30pm
One of them looks like the eye of soron from lord of the rings

@SG Game786, I think you mistake 'behind' of the moon for it's front. Just direct the lamp to the white side of it. In any case there is flex for moving the black plane, as well as the bone.
SG_Gaming786 12 Mar, 2017 @ 6:14am
@Rayko, your saying to put the light behind the moon.
Rayko  [author] 12 Mar, 2017 @ 1:47am
@SG Game786, if you are using a light lamp and the black plane is not in front of the moon, it should react to lights just fine.
SG_Gaming786 11 Mar, 2017 @ 7:54am
how can you make it react to the light. I dont know how to do that?:steamfacepalm:
SkyDog 18 Feb, 2017 @ 11:27pm

I ended up using this model in a sci-fi video, and it looked pretty good (even when scaled up), if you're interested:

That's ok, thanks anyway. I am doing a scene in orbit above a planet, and so needed a large moon. But what you have is good, and I can use it for most of the scenes anyway.
Rayko  [author] 9 Apr, 2016 @ 6:53am
@sonosublime, you can try get this plane closer. I don't really understand why you need such a large moon. It might go black because of lighting issues or just black 'phase' plane popping out.

The thing is, I have no time to make additional sizes right now, but I do believe that you can solve your problem with a smaller moon or at least with another model. (:
sonosublime 9 Apr, 2016 @ 12:39am
Yes, I have used the scale function, and tried remapping the slider range to 1000x, but going further than 400x causes the whole model to go black
Rayko  [author] 7 Apr, 2016 @ 11:08pm
@sonosublime, SFM has a tool that allows to scale models. Is it that much of a problem? Scale towards big sizes is easier, than towards small sizes in SFM.
sonosublime 7 Apr, 2016 @ 6:26pm
Thanks for this model, it's really good. However, it does start out pretty small, and perhaps a little too small for scenes that are to take place in orbit. Is it possible to release a large version of this?
sunkenr 18 Aug, 2015 @ 5:37pm
Nice.

That's no moon.... that's a....

That... is pretty awesome, no moon is this good, who needs lagging spheres anyways, no one thats who. *Martini-Points at you with a smile*
SodaEnthusiast 16 Aug, 2015 @ 11:36am
Oi, mate. Thanks for the easy moon access. Getting a scene set up in, say, out doors at night, will be loads easier!
