Animation is not easy, but you can use Blender 3D, the program is free and very good.
You can also save your models as Obj, and then upload to Mixamo. There is a skeleton is automatically created in your model, and you can add animations to your model.

question how do you import animations i got a few models but i have no clue is to how to animate them ?
