awesome i think i jizzed a little when i found all these TimeSplitter mods for this game as i play all three on a near daily basis and these characters have never looked better well done to all mod authors for these mods :)

As much as I'd love to make sound mods for these characters, I really wouldn't know what dialogue to put where. And there's just so much dialogue in L4D2 compared to TimeSplitters.

Pretty much just TimeSplitters characters, and yes I'm continuing with it. Just been busy lately, plus all those complications with special infected characters.

I use the latest version of 3D Ripper DX, with the latest version of 3DS Max. It's probably 3DS Max, I'll try using Blender next time. Thanks for trying to help. Great mods btw definite subscriptions, got any other TimeSplitter mod ideas?

I wouldn't think so, I use obj's and they always import as expected. Like I said, it could also be your 3D Ripper verison, other than that, idk.

The version of 3DS Max can't import .3dr files, I just use the .obj files, might it be that?

Well I'm not sure then. Only other thing I could think of is if you're using a really early version of 3D Ripper DX, I use 1.7. Or perhaps a problem with the 3dr file imports (if you use them as opposed to obj).. Other than that Max should import them fine. I really dunno.

No the textures come out fine its the mesh itself, there are loads of missing vertices. It's just the first person hands that do this though, everything else turns out fine. I use 3DS Max so I don't know if it's that or I'm ripping them wrong.

If you mean a mess texture wise, that may be remedied by restarting your computer, I've had similar issues, I think it might have something to do with ram. But if you mean geometry wise then I'm not sure. I still have to manually scale things back into proportion, but that's rather easy with enough objects in the scene to determine how much on which axis I have to scale (by scaling everything at once, using other objects as reference). Once it's scaled in Blender, I delete everything but the mesh pieces, then select all the pieces and combine the meshes with Ctrl J, then go into edit mode, select every vertice, then Ctrl V and remove doubles. That cleans up almost all the duplicate vertices. Not sure if you meant you had one of the problems I mentioned above though, I'm just guessing.

I've tried with 3D Ripper DX in the past but I could never get the first person hands, they would always come out in a mess. Everything else on the other hand is fine, I even made a TSFP Baseball Bat mod

I ripped them using 3D Ripper DX with Dolphin on a 32-bit system. It's how I get all the models.

@Wertologist I may eventually get to replacing the common infected, however there's a lot of them to do therefore it'd take a lot of time, so before I'd do anything like that I'll be doing other things first like survivors and special infected.

On the note of TS Rewind, as exciting as it is to see the updates come out from them, they still have quite a ways to go before we'll get anything playable.

Over all, I think there should be more TS stuff on here. There is so little. There is only one TS weapon that I know of.

Any chance of you taking the games zombies and replacing the CI? There are a wide range of zombies in the series and I think the only one that would be a hard fit would be the construction worker CI.
