I like this mod, and i use it now for nearly a whole year. I hoped it would be integreted in the main game but nothing, so i would ask if it is possible to expand this mod. I would like that the standard Scope has this feature so that the Sniperrifle has the effect 2. On this way, the mod would be also compatible with mods that let you use 2 or 3 attachments.

(Part 2) If you are running a dedicated server, you might have to tweak those settings too, and I can't give you advice on that.

AIK is that when my friend and I did that it fixed some of the problems. Others I had to unsub and resub to fix, and now I am testing each mod by itself because a bunch of good mods are not working propperly after the update let alone runing the SE DLC.

(Part 1)Knightsotra, IDK about SE but the minor update a couple of days before SE and the SE Update broke both my and my clanmates modded games. Try backing up any single player installs, uninstalling Ark through steam and then manually removing it from the Common folder, then reinstall Ark.

After you install Ark (and any game saves) Check the options as they have done some monkeying around in there and if you are running multiple mods, even minor ones, crank back some of the settings like "Use high quality textures", "Ground Clutter Distance", and if that doesn't help tweak the settings back a bit in the video settings, especially if you are running the default ones the game recomends.

Not sure if I'm the only one still useing this mod, but, it's the only mod I have found that doesn't crash Scorched Earth. LOL

This MOD works great! I especially LOVE how you can use it even while mounted on a dinosaur!

I just have one suggestion/request: is it possible to make the text show up nearer to the top of the screen?

The text is currently right in the centre of the screen, which makes the crosshair a tad hard to see/use, and it's no fun missing a shot with the sniper rifle.

To clarify on voting, you should just have to click on the spyscope icon, on the contest entry to add a vote. You will see a +1 when you mouse over it and click it.

The server should have the folder 503376601 and the file 503376601.mod in the mods folder. If you are using Host Havoc as your host. The mod installer does not install the 503376601.mod file. You will have to manually upload this file to your mod folder on the server.

it just dosnt launch when i have the mod activated for the server. gives me a msg cannot connect to host or lost connection to host. and i know its this mod cause it only happens when i have it activated

@Unclepee, I solved the issue i had before and made it to work. I have another issue/question - Can this mod go 'hand in hand' with the Difficulty 8 mod ?, my server does'nt want to start up when i add this as the second mod.

Funny I just clicked the link you posted and it went right to the mod. Let me make it clear that the when I say narcotics, I mean Narcotics and not Narco Berries. Also please use the other test mod page to post comments to keep this forum clear of any confusion as to what mod is being discussed.

Just keep in mind that the test mod is going to be updated allot with current work or add features so if running this on a server, make sure you update the mod on the server often.

Hey Kold, I was able to create a tranq rifle that does work with the scope. I created a tranq rifle mod that does not use the bullets as an attachment so that the scope can go on it. The torp effectiveness is still being tweeked but as of right now it takes down a Bronto in two shots. Lower animals, it takes down in one shot. If you would like something a little more balanced, some input on what everyone would like to see would be welcome. After I get some input, I will update the mod. You can test it if you like with this test mod I uploaded.

Actually the scope cannot be in the current state that the Dan rifle is at this time. The Dan rifle tranq bullets are an attachment like the bow or crossbow arrows. You can't place the regular scope on the Dan rifle either because of this. If anything, this is a question to ask the author of Aku Shima regarding the inability to fit a scope on the rifle. If it were able to fit the regular scope then the possbility would be open.

Hi Roop,

If you have added the mod files in the proper location and the server startup command has the mod id added, then the server side should have the mod loaded. Easy way to check the client side is to start a single player game and load the mod from there and run the game. If it loads and you can see the engram and can use cheat giveitem "Blueprint'/Game/Mods/Spyscope/PrimalItemWeaponAttachment_SpyScope.PrimalItemWeaponAttachment_SpyScope" 1 0 false then there is most likely a server side issue and I would suggest opening a ticket with your service.

@unclepee. I have rechecked everything 2-3 times, blueprints, the commands for it, how the files are written over and so on. I'm kinda new to owning a server on Nitrado so my question is - after i have transfered the mod files into the server and added the Mod Id.. Do i need to handwrite/add something else in ' Config files/Game-ini ' after installation?

I'm having issue installing this mod. I have transferred all the mod files via FileZilla Client to my server on Nitrado. I have added the Mod ID and it says 'Mods: SpyScope (503376601).' in server settings. I can't get it to work even tho i don't have any other mods installed. I would really like to have this great mod so help would be appreciated.

Does not alter the core files. It is an additional item, which is why you can't use the giveitemnum command to cheat it in. You have to use. cheat giveitem "Blueprint'/Game/Mods/Spyscope/PrimalItemWeaponAttachment_SpyScope.PrimalItemWeaponAttachment_SpyScope" 1 0 false to get it without crafting.

Devkit update from Epic that is. There have always been problems with manuallly updating the files from Github so hopefully Epic will push the update out this upcoming week. As soon as that is pushed out, I will update the mod.

Knightsofra The Scope is found by going into Craftables, uncheck show all box at top of screen on left side, click on weapons, and then attachments.

Best way to test it out is to run the game in single player mode or non-dedicated server mode. If it works in that mode then you know you have an issue with the mod loaded on the dedicated server. I have tested both and run it on my dedicated server without issue other than the inability to assighn an item id to it and item id's for the new items past 201.6 However it does show up in the learnable engrams and once learned, it show up in my list of craftable items. It will not show up on the smithy or fabricator because it is not programmed to do so. The engram/blueprint is flagged to show in your inventory engram/blueprints. I am also running two other mods with this one and they don't have any issues. Those mods being Aku Shima and my Bessemer mod. Also tested the baby dino mod and it shows up with that mod loaded as well.
