hey, I have a problem, when I use the weapon helper, the weapon is displayed normally when I test the mission on my computer, but when I test on the server side, the weapon disappears and when I put the weapon inside using Zeus, the entire weapon helper object disappears

This is a fantastic mod, but one thing irks me. ACE doesn't let me drag or move any of these objects, and attempting to set these traits in the Eden editor doesn't yield any results. Could you make an ACE compatibility patch wherein it lets us drag these objects around?

I just want to get to the point I am asking all of you for your help, I’m looking to work on a project with the help of the modding community that worked on mods from silent hunter 3/4 and other games, I know that what i’m asking is a lot to ask for so if you would give me a chance to explain

I would be grateful, I'm looking for about 25 people with experience with mod deployment for a project I have in mind to make a game that would be somewhat a spiritual successor to silent hunter 4 using the unreal engine 5

Hey poolpunk I am not sure if you allowed Euler from the 1st MEU to reupload parts of your mod into their "Map Pack" mod but I can see that your PBOs for a few of your mods are in there. Hello. Very good mod.
In the Eden editor I can place boxes on trucks and when I play I can remove then from the truck but I can't replace them on the truck with the character. Is it normal ?

Yeah mate, everythings loaded. Has always worked fine with Diyala. Then after I go back into the mission file to see what Ive done wrong, 95% of what Id placed down before the server error is now missing. Leaving only a handful of boxes. Most of the objects I had placed down were racks and a few boxes for aesthetic purposes, all those are missing now in the mission file. However the 2 boxes I used for an arsenal and 3 other boxes remain untouched.

Sorry for the confusing explanation, its just I havnt come across this before and Ive been a constant user of PLP for the server for quite some time now

When it says that an addon is missing, than usually an addon is missing :) Are you sure the client(s) have it loaded as well?

Its 100% loaded on the server, does the same for PLP containers and PLP all in one

Hey guys, I placed down a few racks and boxes in a briefing room. But when starting up the server, all the objects were gone, said they were missing and then broke the mod to where I cant even see the objects in editor anymore. So I cant see the objects when trying to delete them anymore because they wont show up and says they are missing.

Any fix to this? Hope my explanation isnt to confusing, as the issue itself is already confusing me lol

Hi Recker, There is no Opening animations, if that's what you mean? There is open variants of many containers in "PhysX" and "Static"-Categories.

Yeah the Helpers make problems for me too, i can't get them to work on a Server.
@viking you have the rhs m4a1 classname wrong, its "rhs_weap_m4a1_carryhandle".

this addWeaponCargo ["rhs_weapon_m4a1_carryhandle",1]; this setObjectTexture [0, "\plp_containers\Holders\wh_empty_ca.paa"]; this script however will not work. no entry config would pop up.

Just wanted to say that as someone who needs to make every environment feel unique when designing a space, this mod (and other PLP mods) are damn-near critical. Absolutely great stuff.

Well, we are running on Pandora that I believe contains older assets from PLP Containers, but I don't think that should be the problem. I am banking on corrupted DLs since the issue is rather isolated. We have instructed the players to uninstall and then DL PLP from the Armaholic page, let's see how that pans out.

This sounds like it could be either a mod incompatibility (for instance a second, older version of PLP Containers loaded after the newer version?) or simply corrupted downloads? Maybe try another mirror or make sure that only the minimum set of addons is loaded to be able to connect to your server ..

The mod was properly updated on the server, and even re-uploaded from scratch a second time, and had the users facing issues re-download the mod. However they still have the issue, but out of an entire community it is only 3 select people.

Hey! We have been using PLP Containers on our server, and it's really great. However a recent problem arose where some of our players could not connect due to a problem in the PBO Verification. We tried to help them by having them replace their original PBOs with the server ones, and it worked for one of the player having the problem, but for the rest it doesn't seem to work at all.

They have reinstalled the mod multiple times, as well as cleared the workshop cache from the workshop folder in steamapps. But to no avail. Could you by any chance have any idea in how to fix this?

@E.Rommel - The counters were only placeholders from another addon - Not included in here.
@1st Lt. Williams - Pretty straightforward. Use 'addWeaponCargo' to add a gun to one of the Weapon holders and then make the placeholder model invisible (see included readme.txt)

@KooLade - Sorry, but too much of a change for the existing pallets. This may result in improper object placement on existing maps. Will see if i can implement that for the new line of pallets though

Hey @poolpunk thanks for the great mods, they're awesome for adding all the details to missions.
Just one thing I tried using the code you posted for the weapon holders and it works great in the editor, but when I run the mission on our server nothing shows up. I assume it's a locality issue? I tried using setObjectTextureGlobal as well with no luck.
Any idea how to make it work on a dedicated server?
