Huh, this map appears to be broken for me. Weird height glitches—both when opened as new game, and in map editor. Tried loading with mods disabled and still the same issue.

Chosing a map to start a city is the hardest part. And this is the most lovely tropical map IMO. I'll build my first (25 tiles) city in this one. Definitely. Thank you :)

yeah. Ive been following MrMiyagi's tutorial on map making. Try Subic/Olongapo area. It has natural coves and nice vistas too. ;) I'm trying my luck on Tagaytay. ;)

@cannula, well I hope you like the map. I was also working on Manila, and maybe I'll try to finish it. You have some amazing islands there in the Philippines. I'm in a landlocked state in the US, so I envy anyone with views of mountains, ocean, or even just some hills.

Isn't Wilbur great? MrMiyagi's tip on using it to improve height maps is a gem.

Yeah, but this map uses two trees not in the vanilla game, so I don't think it's eligible if mods aren't allowed. I don't know if I could handle playing without mods.

I just published the two maps I made for the contest, and the listings have the links to the contest information. This map here would be SO nice for the contest, too - an island city out front of mainland suburbs would be really nice
