Hello there. For the moment working fine (at least 4x, 5x and 8x) Building ship, I'll tell later when moving.
Great mod bro, thanks you so much
azfalt 19 Aug, 2021 @ 12:21am
Only works on stations, if set up in a spaceship these blocks stay behind when ship is moving.
Also this design dont blend in with Keen's "new" block models.
Also these blocks are only placeable at one side, should be 5 sides.

needs to be update to the latest version

Please make an invisible block for orbital turrets
Digital_Samurai 13 Apr, 2019 @ 4:06pm
Sektan. Any chance on getting an update? Some of the doors won't work or show up. One of them is the 7 block door.
Procrasturbator 8 Mar, 2019 @ 11:57am
im curious if this mod will work against meteor showers..

Hello

I have a big problem, namely:

I'm just building a huge space station. This station have a very big hangar.
The dimensions are so great that it is comparable to the "space flight thru hangar door" from Star Trek.

Look at this Pic to Understand -> https://hamburger-hafenflotte.lima-city.de/01.jpg
The ship in the Pic is the "U.S.S. Enterprise D"
This Ship hast an width at 600 Meters from left to right.

Unfortunately, I did not find anything reasonable in the workshop,
which still holds the air in the interior.
I need something like an airtight force field where you can fly through with the sizes:

10 - 20 - 30 - 40 - 50 - 60 - 70 - 80 - 90 blocks

Your MOD have an largest block are 9 fields. If i set 2 Blocks in Mirror it is max.18 Blocks width.

My requests to you.

-> Could you please build forcefield-Blocks
which has the right hangar size from 10 to 90 Blocks ?

Many many Thanks for this.

@Mr.Zombie you need to remember to close the forcefield, just like you close a door, when forcefield is open air flows thrugh, when closed the air stays in, this mod still works as intended even thou the blocks hav'nt ben udated for a few years.

(press K at a panel, then in searchfield type: forcefield, select all of your forcefield blocks, and then sellect closed, then they are all sealed shut unless you have a minor gap somwhere in the forefield)

@Airomis these blocks is only for large grid, unfortunatly.
Mr.Zombie 1 Sep, 2017 @ 7:17pm
Doesn't seem to work. They can be placed just fine, but it does not block air.
Airomis 27 Aug, 2017 @ 8:09am
Wish I could find this with the 45 degree curve
LordZile 27 Aug, 2017 @ 1:48am
i am in the same boat i eather cant figure out how to make it work or it is broke for me too
Airomis 26 Aug, 2017 @ 3:42am
Is this still a working mod? And if so how dose it work with small ship grids that have an airtight compartment
Petro99 10 Jun, 2017 @ 3:32am
so this WILL BE fixed ?
Devlah 4 Jun, 2017 @ 11:28pm
Sektan has stated on Facebook that he won't be looking at any of his old MODs until he's done with the new Moonbase set. Fortunately, the Shaostul Force Fields do still work despite the lack of texture on the permeable parts, and are static objects, so no power or turning them on/off.
Jasperon 4 Jun, 2017 @ 4:29pm
I'm having the same issue as well. Crashes when trying to place it or paste a ship with it on it.
Salivan 3 Jun, 2017 @ 3:04pm
this mod crashes my game does anyone else have the same problem?
Devlah 19 May, 2017 @ 2:54pm
Yes. The invisible one only stops air from escaping. Everything else passes through unhindered.
SuperCoolGames[NL] 19 May, 2017 @ 12:56am
can you go through it while forcefield is on?
Igneel Prime 3 Apr, 2017 @ 6:19am
@Devlah, "How do I ask a question on yahoo answers?" this question was asked on yahoo answers
Devlah 2 Apr, 2017 @ 9:16pm
Between this and the people who can't seem to understand the difference between MODs and Ingame Scripts, the Steam workshop comments section is starting to feel like Yahoo Answers....

did you know Air is invisible?
Devlah 22 Mar, 2017 @ 10:11am
The invisible one only stops air, it is always invisible.
The colored one does not change color.
Procrasturbator 21 Mar, 2017 @ 7:05pm
So im confused.... is this invisible only? or is it like... a toggle option? cause toggle would be cool, and on the colored one can you change its color? (figured it would be easiest to just ask both at once)
Igneel Prime 7 Mar, 2017 @ 10:00am
@robin72965 have you tried to cover the gate from top and bottom with the longest ones. one basically hanging from the ceiling and the other in the ground facing up. it's how I solve the issue of a too wide hanger.
Shroom 6 Mar, 2017 @ 10:56am
@Robin72965 It comes in a great many different lengths. You can cover up to double the width of the longest one by having one on each side of your hangar.

There is no option that simply makes it have every size you want. That's ridiculous.
CainTheRedFox 5 Mar, 2017 @ 8:04pm
Can you make this thing come in any length please I have a large hanger that is longer than this and i can't fit the whole hanger so could you please make this come in any length?
Igneel Prime 18 Feb, 2017 @ 3:41am
@Devlah I was about to say that
Devlah 17 Feb, 2017 @ 7:52pm
Ok...So, I recognized english words and stuff...But that previous post was very difficult to comprehend. It was less like a complete sentence and more like a word salad...
Could you maybe try explaining what you mean a little more clearly?

What do you mean: "Invisible is nonsense" ? The invisible version of this door only stops air, nothing else, so your airplane analogy is invalid as there is nothing to collide with.

The rest seems just...random.....
TIGIRAN 16 Feb, 2017 @ 7:43am
invisible is nonsense)) and if someone flies an airplane, and he needs to understand that there is closed. + They're in conflict with blocks, made very crooked, and use on ships is dangerous, periodically begins-thirds of the ship and turn that he begins to explode, as if it is done sliding and even then it conflicts with blocks. There is no way to attach the block to the side, only from below, and it is bad, generally the curve design, I'll have to give it up on his ship, the ship often shakes and turns and your units
Shroom 13 Dec, 2016 @ 2:54pm
I would be happy to upload a version combining both mods and giving them unique names but Sehktan would just DMCA it. PM me if you want the files for your own server.
stich83guy 13 Dec, 2016 @ 1:21am
ya it helps when u use other hanger door mods with this and man its great too i have it set up on my friends base while i was streaming and u know what everything worked just fine im just scared of the update to the stable when it comes out thats all i hope its not for another month or 2 man... would hate to have to start all over again or figur out what mods i need to remove and all...
Devlah 12 Dec, 2016 @ 5:39pm
Yeah, I used to use the two of them together, but due to the limited mount-points and the lack of differentiation between them in the G-Menu, I decided to stop using them for now.

The simple way to look at it would be:
2.0= "A see-through yet solid energy-field version of the Hangar Door"
2.1= "An invisible energy field that only prevents loss of atmosphere, but allows all else to pass through"
stich83guy 11 Dec, 2016 @ 1:43pm
ty Devlah for letting me know bc i have the other mod (S - Airtight ForceField v2.0 - DX11) and i couldnt pass thru it while they were on and i know when there not on its not airtight
Devlah 10 Dec, 2016 @ 3:43pm
@reaperkiller
Yes, that is the whole point of the mod.
stich83guy 10 Dec, 2016 @ 4:23am
like to know can u pass thru it while there on and still have the air tight on it???
a_hobo_with_a_stick 3 Nov, 2016 @ 1:20am
It can be almost impossible to place some of the blocks as some have different attachment points OTHER than the actual block you can see. I couldn't attach a door because for no reason it wont allow attachment to the bottom of the block. WHY? You have to have these attached to something 90 degrees to the doorway, or at least some of the blocks do, some have the rotation point in the middle of the force field, that's not where I want to rotate it.
Tom 2 Oct, 2016 @ 9:14am
V Ditto maybe make it changable like the lights?
Sapioit 10 Sep, 2016 @ 3:35pm
Honestly, I'd rather have them 5% visible than completly invisible... That way I can see when I'm leaving an airtight enviroment...
WiredKamikaze 3 Sep, 2016 @ 6:00pm
Just wondering with dev branch 01.151.005 if anyone else is getting CTD when leaving a hanger in space, while flying another ship?
Shroom 29 Aug, 2016 @ 3:19pm
Never used them, I always assumed they were the same since the descriptions are nearly identical. He needs better descriptions...
Devlah 27 Aug, 2016 @ 5:01pm
Sorry, you're wrong this time. I've actually used it. It's a solid barrier.
Shroom 27 Aug, 2016 @ 11:50am
@Devlah that does not have a solid barrier either. It's the same as this mod, but with a visual field. They do not block anything but air.
Devlah 26 Aug, 2016 @ 6:20pm
He's referring to the other version of this mod that has a solid barrier. Found here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=497110329
Shroom 24 Aug, 2016 @ 1:31pm
@Fullen I'm not sure what you're talking about. These are only airtight. They are not and never were physical barriers.
Fullen 24 Aug, 2016 @ 1:16pm
Is it possible to make a version that toggles on/off between the on mode of the 2 mods?

so when it's off it's like this mod and only air stays in, when it's on it's a barrier like the other version.
Check 11 Aug, 2016 @ 4:16pm
I just ran into this mod after looking through the pages of some of the hanger door mods i had in my list. I am planning a battle-carrier so these forcefeilds will definitly help with that. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Rafe Koet 25 Jul, 2016 @ 3:27pm
I've used this mod for a while now and I love it. I always found depressurizing my hangar to be a pain and more complicated than I thought it should be. This solved that problem because now I don't have to depressurize every time I open the doors. I've used these on ships and on bases and wouldn't be without them.
Devlah 14 Jul, 2016 @ 10:53am
"Update: Aug 29, 2015", I'm fairly certain that Sektan is a very busy person. Perhaps contacting them directly would be better...
