I would not list the Kadeshi as a faction in the description. They are not in a playable state. None of their units can be built and, even if they could, they have only a handful. The swarmers are also just copy-pasted models of each other.

It's a shame that this mod never got off the ground.

@SatelNova9 Yes, I had to give up the Old Hiigarian Empire, because I was unable to recreate the ships I made for them with previous versions of the game. Its a shame that all my previous work got lost...

No problem, always put real life first; it's sad that there is no more the old hiigaran empire tho (that lose the meaning of "past" in my opinion, but just it, i can think kushan past and hiigaran future). I tried to play recently with kadesh fleet, and it doesn't seems to have any problem for me.
Afther this said, take care of youself, is more important fix life problems than the ones of a mod.

@SatelNova9 Unfortunately not, real life hits hard sometimes, and the increased difficulty to work on the mod with the lest tools is no fun anymore...

For now I can only recommend to avoid using or playing against the Kadeshi, also missions that include them will crash unfortunately.

Seems to be an issue with the fuel script, if anyone notice a more specific pattern in which the game is crashing, please report it and be as detailed as possible.

Not for now, all the ideas I had has been rendered rather difficult since the last update, so I prefer to work with what I have.

@nick_ross2011 Would be great to know in which specific mission is this happening, for now the mod is barely compatible with the last versions of the game, and I've started to see crashes more often with no specific cause, I will see if i can fix them, now with Homeworld 3 announced I'm back in the game.

@Darkstorm227 Hello buddy, indeed, I've been away from the modding community for a long time, first because I became addicted to Overwatch and then reality hits hard, the need for a job was more important.

I'm trying to get back but is still difficult with almost no free time.

@Xeno, I had to drop it out due to not being compatible with newest iterations of the game, it was for the Progenitors and it was their flagship.

@Gyndogan, it has to do with the script for the Drones most likely, but I'm not entirely sure, however I have several scripts that switch tactics when launching, docking or running out of fuel.

@superfischel, I tried to do that, and found some issues with the balance, the amount of enemies that you will find during the missions does not match the amount of resources you can gather in the end made the Campaign unbeatable. So I chose to live with the excess of resources, the disabled auto gather when the mission ends should make the resources hard enough to gather.

@RED thanks for the heads up, for some reason I didn't saw the comment before, I will look into the issue, Its strange that I didn't stumble upon it before, probably I made a mistake in the last release.

I've been busy modding other games, mainly because I became frustrated with the amount of effort needed to mod the game since 2.1, it became kinda pointless to try to add any more ships, so I changed genres but eventually I will come back.

@Krnt are you planning to adjust the resources in the campaign mode like in the original Homeworld? For now the proportion between the costs of the units and the resources in the missions it's kind of unbalanced.
For example the inteceptors only costs 55 RE like in the original game but in the first mission you can harvest 1500 RE while the original only had 600 RE. That allows the player to build about 20 fighters in the first mission and kind of takes away the feeling of the original game.
Nevertheless a great mod you made there.

Whoa, I've been away for a long time, I will look into that, I see that it causes desyncs in multiplayer so I have to be careful since mine uses the same data for both.

I just tried starting the HW 2 campaign (HW 1 worked like a charm) but can't build any subsystems (fihter module , beginning of mission 1)? Is this a bug or am I just stupid?

It did work, but v 2.205 is still in its beta phase, so the mod might not work when the full release is out

I managed to find the issue with the research. Seems like the cost was not enough for such an ammount of research time, I made the adjustment for all the researchs and now its working again.

About the mission crashing, its weird, all the other missions load for me, I will update and if the problem persist send me the "HwRM.log" and dump files from: "steamapps\common\Homeworld\HomeworldRM\Bin\Release"

You may find a lot of them, just send me the ones with the same time stamp, one of each type, .dmp and .mdmp.

I will solve the things with the research first, and then see why the next mission can't load, the issue with mission 4 at the beginning was the AI, since I couldn't pinpoint the exact cause I patched around, but as far I tested this was the only mission with the issue, the next one could be because of the researches, these researches were eliminated by gearbox in the vanilla game, so since I added them back they could be causing issues.

@Krnt It's no problem. This is the only mod that seems to supply what I want. I managed to finish the mission. I think the carrier was at fault. I captured it and the moment it was captured, it spawned enemies and did so until I told it to stop all actions. Very weird. I'll see now if the research will start again in the next mission. Just to be sure, I did check out whether it works in previous missions or not. It did. So either the mission or the research in particular are at fault. They are "Defender sub-systems" and "Plasma bomb launcher" respectively.

@Krnt It appears that progress on research, in mission 5, is null. I also get an access violation just as I'm about to try and go for the enemy carrier.

@Ithenos, looking at the level, I think I know who is the culprit, I bet it crashes when loading the Bentusi Tradeship, I will update it in the next patch, along with the Kadeshi multibeam frigate and the Turanic Carrier, they are needing some fixes.

@Krnt I did try actually. It worked until the end of mission 3. Now, when it tries to load mission 4, it gives me an error, talking about an "access violation". I tried to look online for a fix of sorts but to no avail.
