how to allow Zeus (not admin) players to view the WHM debugger?

It will depend on the mod. If the other mod is not designed to work with headless client unit transfers, it may cause issues.

If steam auth fails, enable battleye on your server, make sure mods are loaded onto the headless client as well.

Is it incompatible with CUP Maps? I didn't notice the problem on the VR map, but as soon as I loaded up Takistan the HC was slaughtering my units as soon as they connected to it.

Can't run HCs because they are programmed to run from the C drive and my arma is in the A drive

Hi Wert, no they're AI - part of the SimplexSupportSystems. When I link them to the Ignore module, the HC still takes them and they completely break. Could it be that the scripts of that mod somehow ''link'' the AI to us?

If these units are part of a group that also contains a player, they will sync to the player. Is this what is occurring?

Anyone know how to turn on and actually view the debug in game for admins? I can't find any data in reference to how to get this working .. Ty in advance

When I try to connect a headless client to the server like at 3:35 the dialogue box just says;
"10:56:53 Dedicated client created.
10:56:59 Client connected: 127.0.0.1:2302
10:56:59 > Player headlessclient connecting"
and then never connects.

Any idea why?

Has anyone had issues with waypoints resetting randomly? A convoy will be halfway complete with their waypoints then reset to their origin waypoint.

question, will this work on a Linux based dedicated server?, we have set it up following instructions and from what we can tell the Headless clients are working, but none of the Debug works to tell us if it is actually pulling AI or not, ontop of causing some problems with AI that have pre placed way points having their animation break. would this be a part of us running on Linux or might we have something configured wrong

Okay, finally got the HC assigning AI now but, when its assigns the AI to a HC the AI start running on the spot... When I shutdown the HC, they resume again.

Most interesting part is 0:00-5:00.

Problem: not able to RC AI-vehicles. Workaround - eject crew, RC leader, drop RC and place AI back to vehicle. The locality of those units will stay as local.
Problem persist with zeus-spawned vehicles. Workaround - add any *crew* related classnames to ignore list. (4:10 - 5:10)

Problem persists even without any AI mods (checked, no video, same preset but without AI mods, same results)

Tomorrow gonna try to replicate same problem using ACE, ZEN and WHM with default setting only

Thanks for the mod, HCs working just fine exept one big problem:

Normal AI while being controlled by Zeus are being transfered to player as whole squad.

This does not work for vehicles crew. Only one unit that's being remote-controlled being transfered, not the whole crew squad, thus making remote-controlling vehicles imposible

@Wert Having problems with getting the HC to transfer control over. The Headless Client is connecting and assigning itself to the role of HC1. However, it doesn't do anything past that. The debugger says that its not receiving any response from the HC.

I have triple checked all the mods are in and there are no mistakes with their names. The HC is definitely running the WHM module and everything is setup correctly in the mission.

Any ideas?

If you have added a new mod to the setup, or an existing mod has changed, this could be affecting functionality. Unfortunately, not all mods are compatible with the HC unit offload process.

Curious recently I had it on my server and it was working all fine and dandy, but within the last week to week and a half it just stopped overloading AI to the HC's and just kept them on player controlled, I temporarily tested out another headless client manager (ZHC), but it didn't perform well either, Is there currently a bug with this Mod or did I somehow fuck something up server side for it to magically break?

To access the debug in game, you need to be logged in as an admin (not just voted in).

How do we access the Debugger without script version? I have this mod on the server, but can't access the debugger that comes up with mouse3 to show what is sent on headless or not.

The mod version has received updates that the script has not, which are not mod specific, so I would recommend the mod over the script.

Scipt version had its last update 2015, is it outdated compared to the mod version or did the mod version just get some mod specific fixex?
