it depends on a few things. Most of the time is spent looking for the right part. Also if you get into the zone you can finish quick. If your not into it, it will take longer plus you usually save and try again the next day / week. On average it would take about 5hours of building.

Thanks, I don't mind doing requests but only on the understanding that I am not obligated to do it. I then dont feel pressure to design them which will usually allow me to build them. I also like to tackle the harder projects too but can take longer to finish.

All I will say is that I will look into your suggestions and see what happens, although I loved Space above and beyond and would love to give it a nod.

(also note, I haven't added my newer recent designs to my collection as yet. I may actually get around to doing that one day lol)

I already had a couple of your designs, but your recent "Event Horizon" addition made me look at more. Incredible man! Thanks for all the effort. It really helps keep the game more interesting too.

Try restarting the game first. If it is still not behaving there might be a problem with it and may not be replacing the standard shipset. If that is the case, you may have to manually create the faction yourself. All the Icons and pics should be there, then just replace the ships with which ever ship you like. X-wing for Beam, Y-wing for Missile ship etc and save.

Just out of curiosity here, i did start up the game but im not seeing the Empire Ship Style in ship style selection at all? is it supposed to be there or am i being dumb?

Lyons, I have. Its a little hard to find and I want to update it at some point as it was before the last update with jump gates, so not sure how it would go with jump gates in. (My time is spent designing and rarely playing so unsure if it works). I will dig up a link to them in any case.

N-1 Nubian Star-fighter Anywhere??

Altogether different. Inspired by the Zentraedi from Robotech. The massed curved advanced fleet, swarms of Mechs (coming after the Civ release) with a touch of Aquatic style. They aren't an Aquatic race but come from an Oceanic home world and decided the galaxy if for the taking.

Brief question: is the Krell you're working on the same Krell as was featured in the classic 50's sci-fi movie "Forbidden Planet"? Or is this something else altogether?

Thanks. Yes there is more Space stations coming. The Krell still need their military and mining bases. There is also a Lot planned for 40k (I have not forgotten them, lots of annoying stuff to put together because once saved into a Civ you can't update it or it wont recognize it).

Star wars Civs will get their space stations and a remake and will return to Battlestar too. Plus there are still several of my own (Exo's, Psion and others to be made into Civs).

I plan to build stations for all Civs to give them a unique feel. Its the plan anyway. Work tends to get in the way and am easily distracted by shiny stuff

SO many amazing designs, most especially your own stuff. Love your imagination and inspiration. Can we have more starbases and shipyards pleae? I know it sounds lazy of me but when someone has a talent, why not ask for more of it. lol thanks regardless mate. My race has a way cooler fleet design than any of the games stuff

Hey, great work on your sets. BTW, I finally found the hidden button (for personal use only) on Workshop upload. Was doing it cuz the game gives the ship set errors that put the factions' ship styles on default... causing lost time. Reposted on the other discussion site.

Thanks. Yes, from what I seen of them, they were designed for mass attacks. This had two floors in the design. Their engines were vulnerable from fighters and only had 4 targetting computers, making them not so accurate although they could lay down a hail of fire when attacking enmass.

Thanks Omnibus, that model looks amazing! I think MEdium is the appropriate template, they were always described as small than star destroyers, but still able to challenge one, due to being designed for rate-of-fire.

I have plans too, it's a matter of when I will get around to doing it, lol. It's going to take some time and I will be making both race factions when I do it, aswell as designing several ships to fill the gaps.

I'm a huge fan of all your ships, but not particularly talented myself. Could I make a request of you? I'ts an obscure star wars ship, that I've always wanted to see a full model of. The Hapan Battle Dragon. They are initially discussed in "the courship of princess leia," and featured more heavily in the course of the Yuuzhan vong war (I don't remember which title though). I'd love to see what you think they look like :)

Thanks. I am slowly working on putting a lot of these into race and shipsets. Slowly means, I usually get an idea and start on something new and then get an new idea, then finally get back to what I was doing in the first place lol but I'll get there.

lol thanks. Most wont need dlc's but the Galactic Empire and Rebel Alliance faction needs Crusade which is more than worth it and you can swap between either Normal or crusade.
