if it is just a few ships try deleting the ship file and re-load the ships. some of my designs us DLC but not shur if that will make a crash and some have a lot of items on the designs. I have the same problem when I click on some stock GCIII ship, the game would crash and lock up the computer and I would have to do a re-boot. sorry I do not now how to fix it.

Ships crash the game whenever i click to them in the editor ? It's really strange
