--> go to your steam directory and look for the folder workshop
--> inside "content" type in the searchbar mod.info
--> well, depending on how many mods you have installed this could take a while but open the mod.info files with notepad and look for the Teheran City one.
--------> for me it was 493565819, you can also type in preview. this will show you all the preview images for my maps. Look for the Teheran City one and open the directory folder of this png and you easily find the mod.info
--> change the number to the one you see on the upper left corner when you start CtA
Map creator name and link to current map mod will be included in mod description.
you can find your steam downloads in the steam directory;
D:\STEAM\steamapps\workshop\content\
Please note that my STEAM folder is on a external harddrive and could be different for you, so just look for the steamapps folder.
Inside the content folder you will find other ones with numbers, thats steam way of saving downloads from the workshop. It might take some time until you find the right one, that contains the mod.info file.
Arica Harbor was here in my case;
D:\STEAM\steamapps\workshop\content\302670\511739473
You can also try to search mod.info when you inside the content structure.
From there, open the mod.info file with notepad/editor;
{mod
....
{minGameVersion "1.205.0"}
{maxGameVersion "1.221.0"}
}
---> and here change the minGameVersion to the one currently displayed in the main menu. have fun and I hope this helped you!
I know about these issues, back then I kinda winged it... thats why I created a "city" only version of arica harbor that I am currently working on, but it will take some time until its ready. If the map is finished, we can talk about your light version - thank you so much for your time and your work you put into it, really means a lot to me that you fixed a few of the problems!
I really like it and played alot against AI. However,a few issues. Vehicles get stuck driving against the edges of the concrete platforms(east side of the map if looking toward the harbor,in that little town you created)
Along beach area,there is water somehow in air causing AI to swim on land,from bridge all along coast.And a couple other small issues..
I have fixed these issues, exception of the water bug,i tried redoing your water placement,but it seems their is water under the map im simply unable to get to,to delete or lower/move but have through tweaking improved it to happen less.Iv also moved a few flags around for some balance and to incorporate more areas fought in that were hotly contested in the game BC2 of which i spent hundreds of hours on this map .,and heavily optimized the map(10-20 plus FPS) for people with lower end PCs
If your interested i could send you the file and you could create a "lighter' version of the map for people with low end systems.
