Does it work with a wired keypad?

hey can you make an independant keycard reader so you have an id code (for example Steamid) that would transfer all the information via wire string format? I think it would be a better solution then using the keypads, so if you have a place where you want private rooms for you and your friends you could do that.

is there a specific keypad this works with

When i right click or press r it spams the text.

The picture will be your picture and the name will be displayed in red text above the player when they take the card out. The text is their name and a large version of their picture above their head. Your welcome for the idea.

That could be good for RP bases, If you are basing with someone you put scanners by the fading doors and they are only set to work for the people you are basing with. Or maybe you are making a buisness, instead of having an NPC there would be a scanner, and you could set it to work for Police or Thieves only instead of having to add names.

Maybe you should add a scanner, and if you show your ID/put the ID card into the scanner, It would trigger an event like a keypad. So if you showed certain ID to a certain scanner, it's set so a fading door would open. So let's say a fading door is bound to "KP_PLUS" and the scanner is set to activate the "KP_PLUS" button.

i have another idea, you can give it to another player, or just drop it, so another player can look at it in detail, or even edit it(like if you were to take a drivers course in an RP server) and they could give you the license that way...

or if you drop or give it to them they could edit it themselves to make it seem its theirs.
