Great alternative to building automation stuff inside hinges/rotors. Way more immersive, especially with the micro pb and timer (the 555 is so cute and tiny).

Btw the Hacking Computer has been updated as a new mod and currently can't be placed.
raz334 8. dec. 2024 kl. 4:41
I just really wish that between this or attachments mod, one of them would make it possible to have the objects placed on it rebuilt in survival using a projector.. But the days of multi-grid projectors ... that mod doesn't exist anymore :(
KarlThorsten89 28. nov. 2024 kl. 13:44
If only it could also hold armour blocks... other than that, this is excellent!
slipcasedrock2 23. maj 2024 kl. 19:40
Awesome!
Digi  [ophavsmand] 23. maj 2024 kl. 19:11
Oh yeah thanks for the reminder =)
Updated with action relay, broadcaster and a few more blocks are allowed that fit the server rack theme (see change notes tab for all changes)
EloiHunter95 23. maj 2024 kl. 12:30
Good MOD, the same thing bothers me, putting the computers and timed blocks and events that take up so much is a waste, now we have to wait until you can also put the relay
slipcasedrock2 12. maj 2024 kl. 10:08
yep ive been using the attachments mod for a while it rocks.
Digi  [ophavsmand] 12. maj 2024 kl. 10:06
The "attachments" mod is the non-limited version of this (linked in description), use that if you really want mergeblocks and stuff :P
Adivrsity 11. maj 2024 kl. 15:17
This is one of the most amazing ideas I have ever seen. Thoughts....you could make merge blocks allowed too, this would make a VERY simple way to build small ships or large ships, that doesn't require what it does currently.

Could also be a different mod obviously. But this is amazing eitherway!

Thanks for the quick response. Tried again just now after seeing your response and the download worked fine this time. No idea why the Keen server was having an issue at that time.

Love your mods by the way, really appreciate all your hardwork!
Digi  [ophavsmand] 15. feb. 2024 kl. 13:26
That's the first time I heard of something like that.
You could try on keen's discord server, maybe someone have seen this before and knows a fix. Ideally the help-for-community-servers one as they know the struggles, and include the client SE log too maybe it has hints.
echoMateria 14. feb. 2024 kl. 6:58
For some reason, adding this mod to my server enters my personal client into a download loop that never ends. Even though the server downloads it just fine, no matter how many tries or restarts I just can't finish downloading this.
A Raisin 17. nov. 2023 kl. 10:46
Oh, I forgot to install it :|
Sorry, I'm a dumbass xd
A Raisin 17. nov. 2023 kl. 10:33
I can't find the electronics panel in the blocks list. Using the search bar also doesn't work. Could someone help me out?
BIV 2. sep. 2023 kl. 19:35
Bloody good idea. I agree with your point re: the amount of space a small item 'fills' . This will be very handy indeed. Thanks for sharing your idea and effort. Cheers mate.
OganM 27. juni 2023 kl. 4:03
Is it normal for 4x4 version of the panel to cause constant rotation of the larger grid when surrounded by half panels? Was under the impression that the small version shouldn't be having any clipping
Digi  [ophavsmand] 16. apr. 2023 kl. 23:59
Oh yeah, thanks for the reminder :P I added all the new blocks to be allowed.
Rivenstave 16. apr. 2023 kl. 12:25
Great mod! Any plan to had the new event controller block to the list allowed to be place on the board? Thanks
Steinbeuge 5. nov. 2022 kl. 21:25
I love this mod, but it seriously needs to be part of the base game now with all the controller blocks coming soon
Wallard 24. juli 2022 kl. 11:06
I just wanted to say thank you for keeping this mod alive for so long! This little doodad is one of the most essential mods in my list! You rock!
Junrall 24. apr. 2022 kl. 19:26
@Digi: I have loved this mod from the beginning!
Any chance that we can get the full spectrum of colors on this... just like the other blocks?
Would love to blend this in with the surroundings.
Unruly 4. apr. 2022 kl. 14:44
@Sensational Being: I have gotten that when creative mode placing an electrical panel with a projection in the same space. The block places, the game won't spawn the 'rotor head' portion with the projection in the road.

As soon as I turned off the projection, the whole block placed properly.
Sensational Being 19. mar. 2022 kl. 10:54
This works fine with the Warfare II update. I'm just running one generation older. Cheers.
Digi  [ophavsmand] 19. mar. 2022 kl. 4:12
Link (or DM on steam or discord, Digi#9441 ) your SpaceEngineers.log from %appdata%/SpaceEngineers (sort by date) from when you tried the mod.
Sensational Being 18. mar. 2022 kl. 19:26
My blocks look like this: https://ibb.co/7tVxhtf

I don't know what's wrong.
Digi  [ophavsmand] 19. feb. 2022 kl. 11:58
Sure, added.
Mind that the smallgrid one has a smaller max range :P
Frayboy15 19. feb. 2022 kl. 7:14
Is there a plan to add support for the Custom Turret Controller? It's pretty electric.
luftmann 11. feb. 2022 kl. 1:17
OK, got it. Thanks for the clarification.
Digi  [ophavsmand] 10. feb. 2022 kl. 22:43
While placed on this electronics panel? It's a different grid (it's a rotor), and mmaster's script doesn't look past the same grid by default. See its guide for changing that, https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=407158161 at the "LCDs that are connected using rotors, pistons or connectors are not updating?" part.
luftmann 10. feb. 2022 kl. 15:40
Sorry I wasn't clear. Micro Programmable block and doesn't seem to run program to lcds(Specifically, MMaster's LCDs2).
Digi  [ophavsmand] 10. feb. 2022 kl. 8:46
What do you mean with MP block?
And by not functioning you mean it doesn't get placed, the HUD notification should tell you why :P Also the description has the full list of block types it allows.
luftmann 7. feb. 2022 kl. 15:46
My MP block doesn't seem to function on the panel, regular placement of the MP works fine. SP offline.
Johannes 27. sep. 2021 kl. 6:13
Ugly, but functional.
Digi  [ophavsmand] 24. sep. 2021 kl. 8:22
Sounds like a problem with the subgrid projection mod instead, since they're the one spawning the clangy part.
OmiCron 24. sep. 2021 kl. 5:50
Found why. When projecting the electronics panel, there is two top part klanging in each other. I disabled my projector, welded the top part in place and enabled the projector again and no top part was added twice. Btw, I'm using the sub-grid projection mod.
OmiCron 23. sep. 2021 kl. 17:02
The panel kills me when approaching the corner :/
LSG123 4. aug. 2021 kl. 14:23
thankyou :)))
Digi  [ophavsmand] 1. aug. 2021 kl. 16:16
Updated to fix some clangyness caused by some changes in latest game update.

Also made attach action actually work by implementing custom logic for it.
LSG123 14. juli 2021 kl. 19:23
(i already posted these things but they seem to have disappeared to me so sorry if youre seeing this twice)
a few things:

a feature request, could it be possible to be able to attach and detach the electornics panel from the base part? this would be incredible useful for moving timer etc systems from one grid to another

a bug report, when the panel is placed on another subgrid, when trying to place things on that subgrid, while not on the electronics panel its self, i get the message stopping me from placing things other than timer blocks etc...
LSG123 14. juli 2021 kl. 19:13
This would also make it far far easier to transfer systems from one place to another if you know what i mean, which is kinda how i got into this predicament
LSG123 14. juli 2021 kl. 19:11
feature request: be able to detatch and atatch the different parts like a rotor, like the base part and the green, small grid pard, this would really save me from having to remake a fairly complex system of timers and stuff i somehow got detatched from the base
Wallard 18. apr. 2020 kl. 23:24
Hey Digi, I know others have said this, but I feel it's worth repeating; this is one of the best mods on the workshop.. Its simple beauty has allowed me to add literally hundreds of on-off operations to even the most modest of large grid ships. Thank you so much. Without this mod, my fleet would completely crumble.
Digi  [ophavsmand] 7. apr. 2020 kl. 5:10
Without more controlled tests on your end and without logs or worlds there's nothing for me to do here.

I tried it on every configuration you mentioned and it simply does not happen.
I can only assume that it's the game or your machine getting coicidental memory leaks and you jumping to conclusions because of it.
jarhead 5. apr. 2020 kl. 22:26
server side non-dedicated
Digi  [ophavsmand] 3. apr. 2020 kl. 13:52
I tested on my local DS and don't see any issues, looking at RAM it doesn't move much.
Does anyone else in that server experience the same as you? Or is this memory hog and crashing happening server side?
jarhead 3. apr. 2020 kl. 12:21
works in sp but in mp it almost instantly eats all that memory and se crashes......

i have tried to see what it is that is causing it but can't really tell
Digi  [ophavsmand] 2. apr. 2020 kl. 3:16
I don't see how it's possible for this mod to cause that.

In multiplayer lots can happen, test it in SP in an empty world with just this mod.
jarhead 1. apr. 2020 kl. 13:50
WARNING

THIS MOD IS BROKEN

this mod will instantly EAT 16gb of ram and 6gb of video memory once you place one of these blocks in game......(multi player game)
T.Williams 17. okt. 2019 kl. 7:51
Understandable, these were generally to be hidden in a service corridor and they are purely for the timers & other instruments so the ticking timer / server room doesn't have to exist.

Looking forward to anything else you put out that allows us to use small blocks in a large grid.
Digi  [ophavsmand] 17. okt. 2019 kl. 6:55
This should work fine in MP as long as you understand that blocks are larger than their visual representation and if you use the 5x5 and place blocks at the edge and also have a largegrid wall next to them, they will make clangy sounds.

The 4x4 one should have no such issues (unless ofc you build outwards too much and collide with a wall that way :P)

Clang can happen even without mods so it's always a good idea to have backups and a server that is aware that the game is physically flawed and clang can strike at any moment xD
