So many cool tricks I've never used before, quite proud to have figured it out all by my self relatively quickly. This is how I did it:
@aFather Thank you aFather! I appreciate your support across my recent maps :)
@stormsend Haha yeah. Not quite intended but it kinda still is the same idea :P Thanks!
@p0rtalmaster Thanks p0rtalmaster! Glad to you know you didn't catch it :) (and yes I wanted to bring it back since its been a while :P)
@quaternary Haha yeah your solution is the same as | \_/ ()'s, which I had already fixed :) Thanks for the video, I actually watched it before you commented here :P
@Polux Thank you Polux! :D
Might be a bit out-of-date because I see you did an update. Basically I push the cube off the button with the edge of the funnel, so that the cube enters the funnel even though it's not in line with it. Then I solve the second half like the MAD's solution.
I know about *.dem but I hate the dedicated file storage websites, like DropBox. I use a personal FTP server to remove the hassles of downloading a single file. I also know about YouTube/Fraps but the computer I use isn't powerful enough to record at a reasonable framerate and play the game at the same time. I am kind of limited to what I can do. I found screenshots easier to convey the alternate solution. Only RectorRocks will fully understand what I did as the comment was directed to him.

The solution I came up with I was taught in one of Jotta's maps:

It does give me an idea for a remixed puzzle idea. Can I do that or are you going to rework your map? I'll add you as contributor.
@The MAD Fool Ah I see what you mean! After putting the cube on the button at the exit site, you bridge over to the funnel area, then peek out over to the entrance area and portal the surface that is in line with the button near the exit site. That way it lifts the cube up and enables the funnel. You then float up to the 3 unit high white wall and portal the surface to drop the cube back down to the button and disable the fizzler? That is a great alternative solution! Thanks! Though I'm not sure if I should change the puzzle in this or create a B version of it (maybe add an extra part, instead of just ending it there)
@DeathWish808 Thanks for your video! Haha that moment when you peeked out and shot through the fizzler while barely standing on the button I was like

The portal surface near the button on the exit site,
The portal surface on the tractor beam side that is in line with said button,
(Both of these surfaces can be used raise the cube and reactivate the tractor beam.)
The 3 highest portal surfaces that that are in the tractor beam section that can be seen from the light bridge section.
(I know that these surfaces are part of your intended solution, but I think what will be left will be more interesting-- if you see what I mean.)
I don’t if you will agree, but I hope it is worth a consideration. (And I hope you see what is left for the solution.) Hope this helps!
@Almisuifre Thanks! Will play it and maybe comment some of mine you'd like to try too! :D
It's Courte Echelle . (and also used in an simpler way : Abutment )
Feel free to advise me some of yours sometimes !
From then on it was easy to get the cube on the button that turns off the funel. I didn't feel like stopping the funnel makes the puzzle more challenging, because I only got back to the bridge, placed a one portal high up on the wall next to the funnel and the other one opposite the bridge emitter and went through it.[/solved] I placed a portal opposite the exit and - Solved!
At least that's what made the most sence to me.
Which map of yours is it? I would like to try it :)
@powiux7 I'm guessing you did it like temporarymanwastaken? Because his solution didn't use the funnel
@jgaultney Thank you for the video! I fixed your exploit

Method 1.
Method 2.
In both cases the cube has to be moved to the room with the funnel beforehand so it can be retrieved after walking through the fizzler.
No funnel solution, huh? I'll look into that.
