can i have multiple deathsounds with this?

can not load "deathsound.wav" file probably missing from disk/repository
I get this in console. I created a sound folder inside of the garysmod folder.
What am i doing wrong?

Could you have multiple death sounds? I've been using this for a bit and wanted to use different citizen sounds at random.

@mmanuelgavina sorry for the late reply, and yeah that got me the first time as well... still does... as i test all my mods with a fresh gmod install...

Finally got it working, i named the sound folder sounds instead of sound, which made gmod incapable of finding it i guess.

Do you think you could make a video demonstrating how to get this addon to work properly?
I am trying multiple things and it still won't work, so if you have the time, please try to make a tutorial video demonstrating how to get this addon to work properly, because i keep trying to get it to work over and over, and still it is not working, and I think a tutorial video would help me and everyone else who wants to use this addon. P.S. the pre packaged sounds work fine, just not any custom sounds i try.

If this only uses .wav files then what kind of .wav files are needed?
32 bit or 16 bit r 2 potential wav files for me.

but yeah it still does not work

well yeah I did make a sound folder and I know that the sound file can be named however I want it to be but does It matter if the sound file is about 6 or 7 MB?

garrysmod/garrysmod folder and I put a dark souls death sound called deathsound.wav
and then I try typing in the console
death_sound deathsound.wav and it does NOT work
do I need another addon than
DeathSound Replace V2

this will play the sound from half life 2, the sound that plays when you recharge your suit...

ok for do that first i need to create a sound folder inside garrysmod folder and create a soundfolder for my custom deathsounds right? after that i go to the console and type example: death_sound ''dead.wav''?

yeah, you have to make the sound folder... its because all the sound and models are stored in the vpk files...

Thing is...in GarrysMod/garrysmod there is no sound folder for me, so i have no idea where to put it.

you can easily add new death sounds, simply say i wanted to play the sound "hi.wav"(must be put anywhere in the sound folder...) then type in console death_sound "hi.wav" and press enter... this will set the sound to the choosen sound... however this will not be able to reset back to orignal, just simply disable it...

Is there a way to default it back to normal? or even add my own deathsounds i want?
