Great map! Nice balanced fights, visuals are nice too. Final boss fight's great and balanced. Didn't have to use cheats in the map. Won't be talking about optimizations as map and Revolution works without any lags for half of the people playing it. Recommended overall!

You're both very correct. I haven't properly playtested the demo on serious difficulty before I released it, and I only realized how bad it was afterwards. lt will get really unfair because it was designed more with co-op in mind, and I'm sorry for that.

I've been doing proper balancing and serious mode tweaking for the full campaign after the demo release, and I promised myself to release it only if I can finish it on serious mode myself.

When you are playing on a hard difficulty like that Master difficulty you mentioned then don't expect the map to be fair.

The map is amazing, absolutely gorgeous and all but that yard with 6 statues drove me crazy. After many many many tries I couldn't pass it (I was playing on Master difficulty), it just had too much shit going on. For the love of god, please give us a minigun just before that yard and delete all the harpies at least. It was just too unbalanced. Like I didn't even have the chance to pass the very FIRST wave of enemies even before pressing any of the switches. Other than that, I enjoyed playing your map very much and I hope you will improve it sometimes.

Hello there, I am still working on it. Though due to real life obligations I don't have the time I used to have for it. Right now I'd say the project is about two-thirds done.

Jar Of Flies using Tower of Babilon's theme doesnt fit in this since this is egypt theme

I would call this map "The Waiting Game" because you constantly wait for monsters to spawn so you can move on. This type of gameplay was present in Serious Sam 2 and it's present here. You kill a pack of monsters, another pack spawns, you kill it, another spawns and it repeats. The gameplay could really use some lifting here. I enjoyed the last courtyard though.

The visuals are very good, map is nicely detailed but not overdetailed. It's a pleasure to look at.

My biggest complaint is that the music doesn't fit the map's moody atmosphere at all. I would suggest using the Metropolis' or Tower of Babilon's theme.

Nonetheless, this was an enjoyable map.

Thank you for your kind words. The last yard was added later and isn't in the full version, so that's probably why it's not as balanced. I also didn't have as much time to test/tweak it, so most attention went to normal difficulty.

Very well made map, but I have to say that the last area is really hard if not impossible on Serious (I was not able to beat it atleast :C. Am I missing something?). Especially compared to the rest of the map. Other than that I found the map very fun and I'm looking forward to the full version :).

Definitely the best coop map I have ever played. The choice of the soundtrack could not be better. The detail is here, awesome level design and the lighting is so much well managed. The gameplay reminds me a lot of Tower of Babel (but of course the level design is one hundred times better than Tower of Babel), I love it the fights are awesome, nothing is narrow, the fights are perfect to play and very pleasant, they are very smooth. Thank you for giving me pleasure to play like I was playing Croteam's map, like if I was discovering again the game. Can't fucking wait for the final version. By the way the 6 statues area is awesome !! And Mordekai as a bonus, this map is completely complete !

I personally tested it--it worked fine in co-op normal. I know Steam is fussy about updating, so you'd best unsubscribe, start and exit the game a few times, check the workshop folder if it's removed, then resubscribe. You could also download the gro file in the description, it's the same + secrets guide and you'll be sure it's updated. Anyway, I hope you enjoy! ;)

Just tried it again after update - still not open... Should i restart the level for update to work? Anyway i used iGoToMarker=15 instead of 14 (because 14 is in the beginning of that area) and was teleported behind that trouble door! Thanks for advice with cheating:) And for your work! Will wait for full mappack.

I have found the problem and I am pushing an update that will resolve it. If you want to continue after updating, enter these console commands separately before starting the server : /cht_bEnable=1 after that /cht_iGoToMarker=14 .. If you start the server after that you will start at the outside area and you won't have to replay everything.

Oh sorry, i forgot to say that there was coop session (2 players). So no cheats for us:) Just reloaded the most old quicksave from that area and tried it again (when 2 statues left), pressed them and killed monsters - still no luck - Jackal door keeps closed. If you want to check this for youself - i can invite you to that coop session for you to look.

If you have an earlier save, you can restart the outside area. You could also go to the exit door and use the please open command to exit the yard. Or, if you really want to restart you can enter /cht_iGoToMarker=14 to skip to the outside area. :) Which difficulty are you playing on, by the way? I've tested everything extensively and I've never seen this before.

No, i've checked both doors of course:) And surely hit all 6 switches (checked it 3 times already) and all 6 statues are lit. I didn't post here until checked everything. I fear i must restart level...

Maybe you ran to the wrong side of the yard? One side has golden jackal statues, that's the exit. The side with the pillars is the door you came in from. Otherwise, make sure you hit all switches. The statues have a light behind them if activated, and Sam says something when you activated all.

Cool map! But i got stuck in the huge area where you need to press 6 buttons under statues. All six buttons already pressed, but nothing happens... Door doesnt open. What i did wrong?
