do I understand it right, it's better to subscribe here, but not to download dropbox file?
I've set the waypoint of the AI (Einstein) to the middle of the pressure plate. The AI is trying to get as close to the waypoint as possible but doesn't always succeed, especially if something is blocking its path.I don't think there is an easy fix other than to replay the map (now that you know the solutions that may only take you 10 - 15 min).
Thank the author for making such a fun map. This map was played a few years ago, but it didn't pass the customs. I just cleared the customs today. I feel that the author designed the level very well, with a big brain hole. I hope that the author will continue to make more challenging maps to share with our players. Thanks again!
Love the stars! Absolutely brilliant.
Right click game in steam, chose properties, go to Beta, then select "Previousversion". This *will* download the entire game again so be prepared for the wait.
Awesome stuff friend, would be interested in more!
I enjoyed it a lot, but I did find one problem. I was able to get the star on "Lightlock"! Then later, after I freed Einstein, when he got to Lightlock, the game crashed.
Completed the advanced training in "Road to Gehenna" I tried this one again and had a blast. The Backup-thing made me smile a lot.
I'm absolutely addicted to this game and maybe I'll try some workshop content myself. But first I need to see two other custom campaigns and then the "Serious"-DLC for my second playthrough of the main game.
Big thanks to everyone, who delivers bonus material for "The Talos Principle". =)
The puzzles are really good, I think they were hard enough to be challenging but not so hard that they are frustrating. Only thing I didn't like too much was that sometimes it's a bit hard to tell how buttons and connections are linked, otherwise it's ok.
I've noticed some low framerate that other player seemed to have, but with all settings maxed up and a GTX 970 it's definitely playable.
What I really didn't like was the stars part... I've thought the whole time that all the levels were somehow linked in the end since it looked like there was always the need for a jammer (maybe grab one from a puzzle and move it around the map kind of thing) or a laser from the outside, but in the end it was just a matter of finishing the levels.
The problem I had with that mechanic is that it's really awkward to help a record if you have no idea about what he's going to do, I just gave up in the first room where it stopped moving near the pressure plate :(
otherwise good puzzles
5 of 10 due to stars!
- 4 out of 6 puzzles here are actually harder than anything else i've ever played in both original and DLC, not including some workshop maps.
- 1 or 2 (don't actually remember) puzzles are pretty impossible to solve w/o using some flying cheats to see what's going where etc
- what's the reason behind solving all puzzles w/o collecting stars the robot AND THEN - getting all the stars?
7/10.
like, it's not easy at all. it's going from hard to hardestestestest.
