Also, can we get this unit without using mind control? I mean, a pistol-only cavalry just SCREAMS "outlaw", so is it possible to make it a rogue unit? On a second thought, can the dreadnought get a modified version (armored, with more "soldier" looks) of this unit as well? I also thought up the lore about this one:

Just thought up a good lore/description to this unit:

“He rode towards us, his gun raised. After blasting our wagon master from his cart, he pulled out another pistol from his bandolier and shot one of our guards in the head. He quickly rode away, reloaded with breakneck speed before blasting our captain dead. Luckily, I was knocked out when my wagon crashed, and apparently he thought I was killed in the crash so he didn’t shoot me as well.” -- Return to Rocky Hollow , by Ham the Wanderer

They should probably be human, so they'd be affected by slayer abilities.

This is still preventing your Dark Dwarves from showing up. Do you have any idea why? I'd hate to just give up on either this or the dwarves.

This is a nice idea. :) I'd been thinking of something similar for a Highwaymen mod... I might pick your brains and/or request permission to use elements of this idea when I'm ready.

A very innovative idea!

As an aside, in Warhammer Fantasy Battle (if I recall correctly - I haven't played in a while), pistols can serve as a hand weapon when not firing. I think it may be too punishing for any unit to unable to melee at all.

Had a crash earlier and I think this is the mod that did it. I just finished defeating a stack of units on top of a brigand spawn (think it was scoundrel, mounted brigand and something else). When I tried to enter the spawn location, it acted as if it were loading and then crashed me out. When I loaded the game back up, it did it again. When I tried to move my stack off of the location without entering, it wouldn't allow me to move. I could move my other stacks just fine but the one on top of that spawn was stuck.

I then reloaded the game without this mod and haven't had any issues since. This was the first time I used the mod since I subscribed. Not scientific but I thought you would want to know. Thanks for your work =).

Subscribed, can't wait to check it out. It always saddened me that there weren't dedicated Bandit units (and a dedicated way such as an inn-like site to recruit them)
