nice mod... i have a problem. When the cosmic event "Rise of the Villains" start my game crash every time, because i get to much units with the hero which come.

I'm not 100% sure if it's really this mod...but I was able to turn off all the other mods without it crashing

Anyone know why my last tier IV Tigran guy isnt showing up after all upgrades? I have thye battle priests but not the one that floats and can resurrect a team member to 35% health. Forgot its name.

Unfortunately I have to agree with some of the comments below. Super creative mod but I just had to unsubscribe from it because the balance still needs some fixes. The halfling support can spam a ranged aoe fire bomb attack 3X in a turn for example, plus it has very lucky (a trait I had tried to get rid of using another mod because it's so annoying). The Frostling support unit's ability to ignite is so powerful it generally becomes the core of the army rather than the support. I love all the ideas and played many games with this mod but I eventually found the units were too strong to work in my campaign.

I really loved the idea of this mod. Supports are quite frequently the slowest units in your army, and investing a little bit to make them faster sounds like a great idea.

Unfortunately, over half the supports in this mod are extremely busted. While I've uninstalled the mod, I can remember that the human has a better version of webbing touch (which is already essentially a save or die), the dwarf has an aoe battle length damage buff, and the draconian can transform into a dragon. I'd rate each of them as at least tier 3 1/2 and probably some of them as true tier 4s

I played one game with this mode.
That's cool new units, but i would not advise players to use this mod : It's just mounted support everywhere versus IA.
Support units have too much tools, and they have as much survivability or even more than tier 2 units, too cheap for their powerfull.
And of course, they have better ranged damages than most units of the game.

@SLAYAH: a lot of people care, and a lot of people still play AoW3. There have been 2 new races published recently, and there is a community expansion in the work. It's far from dead, sorry to disappoint you.

Perhaps there are, but i did not see compatibility problems beetween these mods yet.

nice mod, but
AI uses to mass build this T3 weaklings instead of actual strong T3 units which makes game much much easier

I deliberately hold off building the Chamber of Mysteries until the other t3 unit can be produced by the city. I was wondering if that building could be unlocked by the Great Temple instead to give the t2 support units some play.

That's on purpose Auphilia! Frostlings already have a tier 3 support unit Auphilia, so I decided it would be better for them to have another cavalry instead.

To answer some questions:

@BigRowdy - I believe that is something that the maker of the Bigger Regiments mod would have to do. I could try and make the fix myself, if you could explain what the issue is you're having.

@Aymanoir - If you want to provide french translation, that would be great! I'll add you as a friend so we can chat.

@all - Regarding the brandy brother, I guess I should nerf it, since it's the one thing everyone agrees is OP. I'll look into it over the weekend!

Great mod, played with most units so far...but the halfling supports is crazy good on city defence, because of the ranged AoE 3x Attack is sooo much damage, a little bit unbalanced.
Suggestions:
1) Make the ability have a cooldown of 1-2
2) 2x attack instead of 3x attack.
3) It does Full damage on the central square and half on the adjacents.

All the others units look balanced, still not played a lot against/with the elven and tigran too much yet, but the rest looks great.

@Maximo: From memory of discussions when Tombles was making this mod: Yes, it is. The idea is that it's balanced by short range, not being affected by 'inflict' abilities (so you can't use it with sorceror for mass stuns) and missing out on the crazy stuff that some of the others get.

Hi Tibbles and Tombles (saying both names one after the other sounds kinda funny)

Thanks for this mod, i've been using it since mods were released, this and the reskin mod are must have for me now, i thank you for your work to make them happen.
That said i wanted to report a minor(but nasty) bug, elven storm maidens make male sounds when hit D:

Should be fixed now, Ghost Riders should appear normally in later on in the game, rather than always when the game starts.

I think the ghost riders skill is causing a bug in the rogue research book.

As in, it has permanently replaced a spot supposed to go to strategic spells.

There are supposed to be 3 slots tactical spells, 3 strategic, 3 empire upgrades, 1 slot for seafaring, 1 slot for cp upgrades, and 1 slot for unit line right?

Well, with a rogue, There are only TWO slots for strategic spells... and ghost riders is ALWAYS in the spot that is lost. I start with it EVERY SINGLE TIME I playtest as rogue (are you even supposed to EVER start with a tier 5 research in your book?

I just met a brandy brother for the first time and it seems a lttle overpowered with a 3x AOE attack. From the description it should probably only be AOE immolation.
I've updated my translation as well (same link). I realized I translated an old version of the Explosive Escape that doesn't make much sense anymore.

Just a reminder to folks who may not agree with Tombles' version of these units: You are not married to the particular stats or abilities that Tombles gave these units. You have the option to mod this mod, as I have done. For instance, instead of Iron Heart and Spirit Ray, I gave the Inquisitor Denounce Heretic and Fire Pistol - and modded him more along the lines of a "witch hunter" unit. The beauty of mods like Tombles' is to give us new units and ideas to branch off on our own.
