I always play small nations in Eu4, even with mods, so in the normal game Japan is usually my first choice for finding a small, fun nation to play with, but I always end up getting annoyed with how the flags look, so this is godsend material.

Both have flags in my game, I will check it when I am updating the mod.
Ace 14 Jun, 2020 @ 5:54am
Toki is TKI, Kitabatake is KTB. The mod currently doesn't have the flags in the folder.
Anmaril  [author] 14 Jun, 2020 @ 2:04am
@Ace It will be always compatible but I will update it once Paradox sorted out their latest update mess. Toki and Kita are both in the mod. What tags do they have in your game?
Ace 13 Jun, 2020 @ 7:05pm
Hi, is there any chance of an update? The mod is almost perfect. It's just missing Toki, Kitabatake, and So daimyos. Thanks.

Hello! An update to the updating situation: I simply can't. Since the new 1.29 update the launcher first refused to read my supported version tag, which it does now, but cannot upload it. I failed in finding the reason for it for now. The mod should work with 1.29 though as it is not changing any core mechanics and is graphical in nature only.

@Dynamo128 Oh I noticed! :D Thank you, I will fix it.
Dynamo128 7 Aug, 2018 @ 11:09am
Right, but on the preview image here, there's a flag for Thomond done in japan style, except as far as I know Thomond is an irish minor. Did you mispell it or am I missing something?
Anmaril  [author] 7 Aug, 2018 @ 10:16am
@Dynamo128 There is a flag for Thomond in my workshop.
Dynamo128 7 Aug, 2018 @ 8:41am

Yes. It's shield_fancy_overlay.dds
Anmaril  [author] 14 Sep, 2016 @ 1:48pm
@Parasite03 So I would need to change this file, to make the shields look different in game.
ZivDero 14 Sep, 2016 @ 1:11pm
It is definitely different. I put one of your flags into the vanilla frame that I took out of the game files.

Anmaril  [author] 14 Sep, 2016 @ 11:24am
@Parasite03 It is not intentional, I didn't changed anyhing beside the flag. So the effect must be vanilla, or my graphic must look slightly different here.
ZivDero 13 Sep, 2016 @ 9:18pm
Thw white effect on the flag that makes the shield (inside the golden part) look 3D.
Anmaril  [author] 13 Sep, 2016 @ 1:43pm
@Parasite03 What are you refering to? I did not add any effects.
ZivDero 13 Sep, 2016 @ 12:20pm
I really like your flags but the new gloss effect also adds a touch to them. Could you post it as a separarte mod?
Reptillian Overlord 10 Jul, 2016 @ 12:47pm
sengoku jidai :3
Grand Historian 16 May, 2016 @ 11:55am
All right, thank you anyways.
Anmaril  [author] 16 May, 2016 @ 10:46am
@Imperator Justinian I'm sorry but no. As the only meaning of this mod is to change the Japanese flags, and I have another mod where those are also included, I see no reason to let them be included in other mods which does the same. If you create a total conversation focusing on Japan only, I would be open to discuss it.
Grand Historian 16 May, 2016 @ 10:17am
If I could ask, would you mind if I use some of these flags for a mod I'm making? Many of these are better than the vanilla flags, and I would really love to give them some more exposure.
Anmaril  [author] 16 May, 2016 @ 8:51am
@Imperator Justinian You're welcome!
Grand Historian 16 May, 2016 @ 8:51am
Thank you!
Anmaril  [author] 16 May, 2016 @ 8:50am
@Imperator Justinian Adobe Photoshop.
Grand Historian 16 May, 2016 @ 8:49am
You're welcome! Out of curiosity, what program did you use to create them?
Anmaril  [author] 16 May, 2016 @ 8:46am
@Imperator Justinian Haha yeah, I had the same issue at first. But I read there were no official colour combinations at all, and only the mon itself needed to be the same. I decided to give the flags the same colours the daimyo have on the map, that's why Tokugawa is green. Thanks for your feedback.
I actually wanted to give their flags a similiar style, and therefore want to keep the white-ish mon-colour background, to indicate their minors status.
Grand Historian 16 May, 2016 @ 8:39am
Some of these flags are really good and definitely better than the vanilla ones, but others I kind of just have to blink at (Green Tokugawa!?). Still, good work, and is that a Toyotomi flag I spot? If so, can it be made black on gold?
Anmaril  [author] 6 Apr, 2016 @ 2:16am
@TLPD-AVW Oh, I didn't notice. Totally! I will look into it on the weekend.
Thelypody 5 Apr, 2016 @ 2:03pm
Can you create a flag for Nanbu in similar style? It's a new Daimyo in 1.16 under RFR tag.
Anmaril  [author] 28 Oct, 2015 @ 10:03am
@Jmack they changed it at some point. The moment you got all japanese provinces as a Daimyo you become Japan. You can avoid this if you declare again Japan to become independent and get your indepence through this war. Unfortunately, it seems you are stuck with the Daimyo government type this way. But if you unite Japan as an independent Daimyo you shouldn't become Japan.
Jmack 27 Oct, 2015 @ 8:17pm
so I took japan and kelpt a green colourd japan for about 20 years, then poof! japan is now red again! doesn anyone know how to change colour back?? thanks

Anmaril  [author] 17 Sep, 2015 @ 8:11am
@Mr Codi 1212 but Alergia does not exist in the game, or am I mistaken?
Mr Codi 1212 17 Sep, 2015 @ 7:24am
