As for the competition itself, I completely forgot to put the competition into voting stage, so did that just now. Sorry... XD
Cheers!
Btw, when will the voting stage for this challenge start?
Maybe we can do a trade. I have an addon (made by Radelite) that gives you an Energy Pellet gun, a laser gun, and a Radio. They're glitchy (except the Radio), but the Energy Gun is pretty fun to use. What do you say?
Also, currently, that object can be made larger and if you do that, it doesn't work at all. If you place it in the wrong orientation, it doesn't behave as expected, so pretty broken if you ask me. :P
Also, can you please make the exit island slightly larger? After removing the laser grid & portaling the floor & angled panel, I just barely missed & fell into the goo.
@IVO: there's nothing wrong with the puzzle, the main element is there, but I suppose its not in balance with the rest of the map. I got in a creation dip when making the map and didn't want to abandon the idea altogether, so I decided to build it more as an exploration map rather than a puzzle, while still keeping enough puzzle elements to keep it both interesting and complient with the rules for the compo.
@Jade BGE: Yes I did. :D I'm glad you like the map now that I fixed it. :) I always forget that if you rotate a portal, your trajectory drastically changes. Its not something I can use as puzzle element, because only the more skilled people will understand that, yet its something not easily thought of when you are countering breaking a map. XD
That was a terrific! Thanks for the fun map.
But there's something wrong with the puzzle. Maybe I wouldn't have been able to explain what it is if it weren't for Deamon Arisen's 'how to make great testchambers' video
So, imo this puzzle is lacking focus on a major test element(s) and focuses on minor test elements and connections instead. I think this is what leads to the lost feeling of satisfaction at the end that I had.
